Wait. I’m sorry. Totally lost here. Had Mav claimed Pete? Was I completely insane in that I didn’t think there was even a question that Sammy had?

@[Coq au Vin](/user/show/916716) I’m not sure if I understand your question, can you rephrase it?

@[Jack Parker](/user/show/10016753) Thanks for writing back! Yeah, so I guess I’m confused. I thought it was Sammy who claimed Pete. His teammates wondered who might top the new coach first, and Sammy said he was off limits. Right? (When Mav stops the guys in the sauna, I took that as respect for the Parkers or the process in general.) But now, it seems that Mav had claimed Pete back whenever, which is why he orchestrated sleeping on Pete’s couch. Which is right? Am I missing something?

@[Coq au Vin](/user/show/916716) Mav was sent to get Pete back on track and with Eden again. He hadn’t claimed anyone, he was there to maneuver Sammy into submitting and to get Pete to admit his feelings so he’d stop fighting the Eden way.

Thank you for writing and sharing this story! I had a blast reading it and hope to read more of your work in the future. Some off word choices but still a very fun read, especially with the doms getting caught in their own trap.

I love the idea of burps, or farts or piss being a vehicle for dumbing down and horning up and you've handled it really well here!

I got really into lucid dreaming a few years back and every once in a while, it'll happen again. I'll usually take the chance to either jump off the ground and fly or walk up to the nearest rando and command them to suck me off. Their eyes always go foggy before they drop to their knees

@Anonymous Hot as hell! Yess, I've been into it for a few months now. I am so impressed at the people who are so good at LD at they can just go "I'm going to lucid dream tonight" and then it happens that easy. It's definitely a skill I want to improve upon. Until they invent immersive VR with touch-and-feel capabilities, Lucid dreaming seems like the best place to enact more supernatural fantasies right now.

Content Warning: Mention of abusive relationships. I am so, so, SO glad I stuck around to read the rest of this story--I can't thank you enough, @Naedre, for being so kind and messaging me to sort it out. Because this is one of the best things I've read in years--not just on this website, but PERIOD. It's always funny when people ask me what good books/stories I've been reading lately, and I have to leave out the ones from GSS ("Oh, it's called...'Curse of 100 Bottoms'...). What stands out most for me in this chapter is that we're seeing inside Riley's head. Not only is a fascinating look at how the spell works (Riley being aware of the absence of things is particularly fun), but it's a sadly realistic look at how people in abusive relationships end up feeling about the people who the abuser actively isolates them from. The scene where Riley lists how much he hates Tyler because Tyler is kind, considerate, and genuinely loving--all the things that Brian *isn't*--breaks my heart open. Riley knows that he doesn't deserve to be a slave, and further that he loves Tyler, even though Brian's "programming" makes him angry about it. I admit that I'm a sucker for "love conquers all" stories, and seeing that happen here makes me happy. I hope that Riley's love of Tyler, and Tyler's love of Riley, win out in the end! Speaking of winning out, you've done an excellent job at laying a potential way for Brian to lose. Tyler, Noah, and Joe are all safe from any sort of mind control--presumably including Riley's new hypnotic abilities--but while Brian wished himself to be "protected in every way" from the trio, he *didn't* include Riley on the list, as he thought he didn't have to worry about his slave rebelling. So now Brian is trapped alone with a man who (again thanks to Brian's "say yes whenever I make a change to myself" wish) is producing the same pheromones that make people vulnerable to hypnosis and *has the explicit power of hypnotizing anyone he talks to.* Here comes karma! :D That's another awesome aspect of this chapter--after seeing into Brian's head and what a selfish, horrible, morally bankrupt person he is, we get to see the consequences of those traits. He can't imagine that Tyler, Noah, and Joe won't say yes to the pheromone wish because he can't imagine anyone not wanting to be cruel and dominating. And his ego is so enormous that he never even considered that a wish-granting immortal djinn would be more powerful than him; the image of Brian uselessly throwing a tantrum and demanding Javi obey him at the chapter's end was the perfect contrast to how much I hated him at the end of his POV chapter. Finally, I also want to commend you on discussing the different versions of love in the world and how difficult it is to express them ("English is a stupid fucking language" is PERFECT). You show that sexual, romantic, platonic, and friendship love can exist simultaneously among different people, and that's a rare thing to see. In short, this story is truly special. Thank you for writing it, and sharing it with all of us! :)

@[Feed Your Head](/user/show/1170832) Hey man, thank you for this incredibly thoughtful post. I also appreciated messaging you about the direction of the story and our discussion on what a guy like Brian looks like in the real world. And I love all the speculating you and others are doing about what happens next and why. Some people have some pretty good ideas. (No! I'm certainly not rewriting anything to incorporate your better ideas!) In all honesty, next chapter I think will be very unexpected for everyone, before we return to the saga of Brian and Riley in Chapter 11. Chapter 10 is one of my favorites, but... well... it is a change of pace.
