This is exactly the kind of story I would have loved reading back in the old NCMC days. A man taken and ruined by his lust and fantasies, trapped in a prison of his own making as a dumb muscle beast and loving every minute of his degradation and humiliation

I tried to leave a comment last night and not sure if it went into moderation or it was eaten because I hit the wrong button. I don't usually comment here and I'm trying to do it anonly. In fact I'm a prude who just likes transformation stories, not porn or sex and fiddly bits and such. I also don't like incest stories. (The medieval and fantasy elements helped here... and maybe just because I like wolfmen and minotaurs a bit). But I really enjoyed this, due to the writing and characterization and genuine buildup. I liked the fact that Rudy, the licentious one, seemed more aware of their being corrupted (and reveled in it) than most of the others (including Gil, even at the end). I had my own headcanon of Ruby's ending and turning, which the 50 years future may alter a little, but... After weeks or months or a year, however long it takes, gradual communication from Rudy and Gil plus her own loneliness and isolation... But for Ruby to either just give in or decide to join, apart from death being the only option and the logic that Anon presents, I'm thinking a) Rudolf apologizes for his tirade and accusations, right when Ruby tried to tell him he was still the man she loved underneath it all... It was the rage and exhiliration and lust and anger, and even though corrupted and enjoying it, Rudy assesses himself and that Ruby's not wrong, he does still love her tenderly... and Gilbert realizes that turning her right away as he planned wouldn't have been allowing her the agency which he himself had been granted by his brothers, to make the call. Whatever the outcome after, I feel like that would have been part of it... and then because I don't and can't write the explicit sex stuff, I just picture sloppy cartoony wolfish triple kissing with tongues or whatever.

@Anon Y. Mouse Yes, it is somewhat sifficult searching for transformation stories without erotic elements. I tgink something has to do with the completion of bodily change is likened to orgasm or such. Yeah, Rudy is always horny. I think he likes seeing his father and brothers becoming as horny as he is. Gil himself felt that he was doing "the right thing" at the moment, so you can say that he was somewhat oblivious to the insidious nature of his corruption. I'm genuinely surprised that people are rooting for Ruby to get her happy ending! Thabk you for following my work!

@[darkblade2814](/user/show/243317) It is highly likely and possible. While the eagles seem to have been eastern immigrants into the west, even if the house was sacked- gil likely wasn't the only survivor- ruby is right there. If there were others looking for him alongside ruby, they'd likely run into him. However, this likely would have ceased after the disastrous knight expedition and the mass shifts. At that point they'd likely mark both as being dead in all but name. Though during the truce period when the diplomat went, some others may have followed in later years. I can however see that any survivors might be looked upon with suspicion in the west as the outbreaks spread and anti-western sentiments in the east grew, and they may have fled west as a result. Others however might only redouble their loyalty to the east in vengeance against the fall of their house, or would have fled both regions entirely. The coasts seem to have issues with the abyss folk, and forests might wind up arboreal hostpots. I can easily see some as the outbreaks spread fleeing to the mountains or deserts or underground- extremely remote, hostile areas- to survive. These folk would likely be amongst the last humans in the region- living increasingly secretive lives, becoming legends in their own right. It one goes with the possibility ruby gets converted, I can easily see her essentially working as the pr branch to lure in more easterners.

@Anon Yes, just as how the transformation is appealing to us readers, there must be characters in the story who see their corruption as liberation as walk towards it willinglym. There might even be those who decide to willinglu bring themselves and thode around them into the grasp of corruption without their consent. I, however, would say that since the Primal Beast's corruption after the Gil's surrender is instantaneous, there would be no man in the West who was willing to resist the transformation left, so the bleak scene you mentioned might not happen. After the West has turned, there are stray Easterners who submit themselves to the west like you mentioned. Lacking the primal beast's blood, they cannot be turned instantaneously until they have built up a relationship and allegiance to the west, like the diplomat, the process that could take up to decades. Their beastification is the ultimate reward for their patience. Your characterization of Gil and Ruby is exactly how I want to depict him in his later years. He is still the same loving person deep down, but has become sarker, more manipulative, and ruthless. He is always eager to see easterners joining them voluntarily, as he himseld had. Let's see how badly daniel will spiral.... Maybe if he is so vigilant with maintaining "humanity", the faction under his care may be so vigorously altered until they too become undenuably "corrupted".

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) good point, I do see daniel, if is is caught by the demons, becoming Warth demon, and if is is caught by the beastmen, what house would want him?

@[darkblade2814](/user/show/243317) He might spin-off into his own faction 😀. I doubt either the demons or the beastmen would want to make him join at the moment. He did do bad things to Collin and allow Collin to steal Aaron. Maybe if Gil got Aaron back, he would allow Daniel to join the Wolfmen? He was somewhat close to the man before, after all.

6/11/24, 12:53 AM
@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) so, he is not in the priority list right now, I wonder what gil feels for Aaron?, now that he is free from his influence, also what would William feel about the beastmen once he finds out they are the reason for Colin's "death"?

Love it, keep it coming!! Love to watch Thomas'' conversion to Missionary with his new Companions.

Great finish. So many fantastic elements. The part with the men in uniform was especially hot. Such a coordinated attack just to keep one man out of trouble. And I like how openly Danny speaks about brainwashing the poor lads. It is always hot when the guys are so deeply conditioned that telling the truth to them just makes them hornier. I also love the fact that Mike starts acting like a college jock again. Bro-ification is one of my favorite tropes.

I’m thoroughly enjoying the pacing of this storyline as well, your coming up with some great ideas of psychological chaos!!

@Anonymous Thank you! A good spicy sex scene is only as good as it's foreplay. So the build up and mental states of people are important to me.

@Pcm I suppose I surprise even myself in being able to concoct something so dour. Make no mistake, I do love how you keep the characters in your stories happy- it's subversive and intriguing compared to many stories that lean into tragedy- but when looking at the larger world overall of this universe, that bleakness is to some extent the reality for many- the few that we see happy are moreso the exception- others can become like them- but the cost for that may be seen as steep. Unless they get converted of course, but that to some extent is an ethical dilemma and a subliminal horror of it's own- or a happy ending with family and friends. It's all in the eyes of the beholder. But in a cosmological tussle such as this, the bill would likely come due one way or another, as per the many mythological traditions that exist in real life. For me, the poignancy of such transformative works in the dour nature is something I think many don't always focus on (fittingly, as the point is mostly to function as erotica, and frankly too many people often look at the tragedy aspect anyway by severing the transformed from their loved ones in a personalized sense), but looking at it from a non erotic perspective in the context of the larger world- that grief and dismal tone could work itself well in thematics and narrative structure- of course there would need to be some hope to temper it as well. And to some extent, Gil's actions did cause other people to live tragedies- Daniel being one of them- shame he went and made another tragedy and foisted it upon Collin though. Regarding thematic natures of the entities, you make a fair point that if the beast is night, and the dawn is day which sacrificed itself, than what is the dusk? Is it a rebellious element caught in between? A herald for the night to come perhaps? But if so- why does it side with the day, and act as it's vengeful/fierce counterpart? But more importantly, if there is a dusk, is there also twilight? One aspect of the cycle can't last forever- that would likely breed imbalance- which might carry with it deadly consequences cosmologically- that's how I see it at least. That's sort of why I saw things in the worst case scenario as being apocalyptic. Because a cosmological tussle like that would likely breed disaster. If the dawn gave up it's divinity, then something will likely take it's place. A full night cycle is bound to cause problems- even if all humans are gone, it likely existed (the dawn) for a reason- one beyond just benefitting humanity. I think a lot about avatar the last airbender in this- Zhao of the fire nation tries killing the moon spirit to secure fire nation dominance during a siege of the northern water tribe, stripping them of their offensive water bending and healing abilities- but doing so would have backfired upon his own nation (which was a chain of islands, likely leading to weather disasters, hurricanes, fisheries crashing, famine, civil unrest/civil wars etc due to a vengeful ocean spirit). Thus, there likely will be a consequence for such domination of the night- or any of the other factions. Perhaps an uneasy balance will be reached in time, but who knows? Yet, as you've mentioned, your story will likely not be focused on such dour elements, and that's perfectly fine. You are right that the demons are excess for the sake of excess- and probably more anarchy ridden, but while the beast kingdoms do have a functioning society (which I am intrigued to see how that develops in the 50 years and what that will lead to- their rites, culture, customs, initiations etc.)-they too also have some aspects of hedonism as parts of their creed- perhaps exhibited in a different way than the demons -as their ideological stances are very different- but they manifest in similar ways. In that sense, they are convergent in some ways, and divergent in others. But in the aspects they share at times, they too also shed much restraint and deal in excess- and they carry an overconfident belief (not unwarranted) that they are superior and undefeatable. But all things have their weakness.... as we see with how Collin was able to exorcise Aaron. But who knows how things will go. That is up to you. Either way, I look forward to it.

@Anon You are right ; I like seeing my "main characters" being happy...less so for the others. Well, I intend for the Dawn and Dusk to represent transitional period. It is up tobyou how you will interpret tgat. I do feel silly talking about high fantasy theme in an erotica.:satisfied: Perhaps not immediately, but I plan to dedicate a chapter of Knightly Duties to visiting the beastmen. Let's set the stage for the outbreak first.

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) that sounds great, let's see how the beastmen are couping with their plans and the demons' emergence

@[darkblade2814](/user/show/243317) Honestly, seeing the beastmen kind of panic at seeing their plans thrown awry thanks to this would be hilarious. I can see everybody in wolfheim just staring at this and going "well....what do we do now? Our market share is being taken.". They clearly wanted to play the long game, but I think they're going to have to speed things up now. They've run out of time. It will be interesting to see the fallout.

6/10/24, 3:16 PM
@Anon I agree, also, I wonder if some of Gil's bio dad's men went to te west look for ruby and gil, only to become eagle beastmen, undeling to the wolves and the "griffins" AKA Gil's converts

6/10/24, 4:20 PM
@[darkblade2814](/user/show/243317) There are vey few loyalists to House Aigles left, Ruby being amongst them. Hypothetically, if they arrived at the west, Gil could convert them with ease. After all, they are sworn to him. However, as Gil has no interest in starting or splinting off into his own House, his converts would end up as wolf-eagle hybrid, reptesenting Gil's allegiance to the Wolf famiky.

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) makes sense, still, winged wolves are treats
