Really enjoyed this story. Very well done in pace, description, and making the rules easy to follow. It's definitely going into my favorites.

I hate Brian so much. He literally makes me want to puke. I can feel the sensation in my throat.

I hope Brian gets absolutely destroyed and alk of his wishes and changes get reversed.

Because this story has hit me so hard, I've decided to actually leave a comment for once. Thank you for writing such an exceptionally hot story PCM, I don't think I've ever read an erotic story that has me anticpating the next installment to this degree before, to the point that days after reading, the story still lingers in my thoughts and even the odd dream. I even find myself checking back in daily to see if it's been updated, even when I know the chances of such a fast turn around are low. On the topic of Gil escaping or succumbing, it would make an excellent tragedy if he ultimately escaped with Ruby and the other easterners who couldn't be turned. Buuut, from what I personally like to see from stories like this, endings where everyone ends up 'happy' is my preference, which in this case would be Gil succumbing and joining his family in full, Ruby somehow accepting something she's fought to prevent, and a way for the easterners who were initially rejected by the primal beast to join their families similar to Gil. While the last two are harder to imagine in the current constraints of the story, with the easterner's 'good ending' surprisingly being the harder of the two to resolve, my head-canon will be that those who truly wish to be westerners, and are at heart, will be given similar chances as Gil, with their western family blood adopting them under the eyes of the primal beast, because if it's good enough for the wolf king, it's good enough for the common beast lol. Which incidentally allows for those who wish to run, and those who wish to be with their families no matter the cost the chance to influence Gil and could lead to a big scene where Gil succumbs to save their lives from his father's men?beasts? and he advocates for them to rejoin their families where he is forced to watch as they are all either accepted or rejected by the primal beast before him. Even if all my somewhat worrying dreams and stream of conscious word-vomit don't come true lol, this is still an exceptionally hot, well-written and original story. I look forward to the end of this story so that I can read Knightly Duties next with this story as my introduction and add both to my favourites.

I really enjoyed this story. I hope it continues because this story is a good build up to another one.
