I had to read this twice it was so good! So many hot men in rubber being good slaves; I'll never get enough of it! First speculation. Will the AI become the big bad for this series? Not only that, but become the villian that Hank was originally planning on being? Or more specifically, this created Hank; if not the AI by extension. It would certainly be a different twist on his view of balance. The AI's view of perfecting and controlling with a lack of free will guided by automation. To Hank's choice and deliverance that inspires loyalty and obedience. Just got to add in the 'standard' super heroes and their good guy mentality. For the one big thing on my mind before this chapter dropped was how are you going to kill an AI? Especially one that has already established itself and then 'evolved' with powers? And would force more interactions and cooperation's between Hank's group and the heroes. But also will Wesley become an 'acolyte' for the AI? He has the persona to be a villian. And his efforts to impress his master and his revenge on Nick could become warped to focus on the AI who is creating a version of Hank. And Oh how Kurt screwed up! Reading his attempt to reassert control over Nick was wonderful. It really seemed that Nick would go back under as it was hinted more at the start of the chapter. Those lingering feelings and compulsions still deep inside. I'm sure Henry would have intervened, but those two rules Kurt had were what was keeping his influence there. To Trust and Love. When he removed those, enforcing obedience on its own isn't strong enough without a foundation. He truly screwed himself. If only it did work, that hood Henry is still in (many thanks for that too) was clearly having a growing effect. But also Nick's growing appreciation for rubber was very encouraging to read. I hope he keeps using it. As for Hank and his group, that mental game Gold played with the AI was clever on his part. It was a bit obvious where it was going to be honest. Twisting who the AI meant as his master. Yet, I am wondering, was it necessary on his part? In the previous chapter, didn't he already view Hank as his master when he emerged as hero Gold? It feels too simple and shallow to say its just reinforcement. Perhaps more like a true commitment in the form of conditioning? I guess we will have to find out when Hank does. Yet that moment between Red and Hank was sweet and touching. A genuine Master and slave relation. The care and concern was palpable. But so was the demand and expectation of winning. Its endearing to read how Hank has even evolved as character.

Poor David, I think that all of this is ridiculous in the best possible way but I'm not _entirely_ sure he agrees. What a cliffhanger, can't wait to see what's going on with "Theg"!
