@[MChicago](/user/show/10024403) I'm so glad you're invested. I've only just started writing it, though, so I hope you stick around!

Loved this chapter! I like how arrogant and cocky David is. His commands are creative too. Love it!

Loving the story so far! Can't wait for the new recruits to change, especially the cocky Christian. All the stuff with agents Smith and Wesson in this chapter was especially hot.

@[Hypnothrill](/user/show/37386) I'm glad you're enjoying it. So far, it's made me realize how much of a novelist I've become, in terms of taking my time with development and plot. In the original series, they were taking the shots in the first chapter, here we had to get all the way to chapter five (for the primer)! The Smith & Wesson bit might have been a little gratuitous, but it does illustrate a plot-point for later on. (See? A novelist...) Honestly, it wasn't until I realized what to do with Little Budd that this whole thing came together in my head. I've stayed away from doing a sequel to the original story because I didn't know how to utilize the brothers. I knew Big Budd would become "Big Daddy" but Little Budd's future role was never clear. Now it is. I enjoy writing Christian -- Keywon, too, now that I've figured out his voice. And once I gave Smokey a Philly accent, the whole character made sense to me.

@[absman420](/user/show/162063) Keywon was solid bit.

@[Darmani](/user/show/138470) Keywon’s turning out to be a cool character to work with. I always hesitate when writing a person of color, but I’m playing with convention as I do, allowing Keywon to comment on his own situation. It’s oddly meta, but the character rings true.
