Thanks for the next chapter. Sarynov is right and wrong at the same time. Yes, not all stories end well, this is unfortunately true. But all stories with a bad ending are just a prologue to a story with a good ending. And all criminals are almost always punished for their crimes. And those who escaped punishment somehow miraculously, life will punish them (Karma overtakes everyone).

What is the origin of this infection ? Is it a virus or something else?

@Anonymous At this point in the story I wanted to keep the origin a mystery. It’s still new though, but becoming more established and gaining traction.

I'll accept quite a bit in my erotic hypnosis fiction, but having a coffee drinker abstain is a bridge too far.

@[groupple](/user/show/922356) I don't usually compliment a commenter, but that made me cackle.

Nice first chapter. So hot. Im guessing, Megan is Scott's mom and her date and his son's daddy is the same person, which is James.

@rubbrsome I loved this story so much. And for all the reasons you are describing in your comments. I appreciate your thoughtful insight in your comments. Thank you! I have a deep longing to wear rubber, but have never put it on. I don't have any context for it. I don't really know where to buy it or where to wear it. What I imagine is being in a group of men who are all enjoying rubber and feeling connected to the other men in the room through these common sensations. There is a hole in my heart. Climax doesn't fill it. I have always dreamed that a community of men would. I started a story a few years ago to try to explore that (called "If I Had Only Known"). People responded well to it. Until it became clear that there wasn't going to be a sinister turn. There was conflict, but the "bad guy" wasn't the man offering rubber to the men who were transformed. I wanted my characters to be happy and fulfilled by the rubber takeover they were experiencing. Joined together by a bond that was so deep in their bodies, in their very selves, that they all helped one another fill the hole in each other's hearts. This probably isn't the right place to explore that 😅 I get that. Maybe one day I'll finish the story just for myself. I would love to talk to you more about this idea if you're ever open to that. I love your writing. You are a big part of the reason that I've become fascinated by rubber and how it can bring men together. Thank you for that. You've had a big impact on my life without knowing it.

@[Cyclops](/user/show/921842) Holy shit, man! I thought you'd completely left this site! Your story is one of my favorites of all time! I used to revisit it now and then, dreaming that someday you'd come back and update it(I mean, I still revisit it -- I'd just given up hope that it would ever get a continuation). It's true that many stories on this site frame the mind-altering/controlling elements in a more sinister light(I have my own theories on why that is), but I never got the impression that you were aiming for the same sort of thing as them. I actually liked the different direction you seemed to be going in! So I wouldn't have been disappointed at all if the Rubber didn't turn out to have some evil ulterior motive or anything like that. Perhaps none of this means much coming from one measly "Anonymous" commenter, but I'm sure there are others who feel the same out there somewhere. And as for @[rubbrsome](/user/show/13662)... I've been "coming" to this site for several years now, and it should probably come as no surprise to hear that your stories have ranked among my favorites since the beginning. But the enjoyment I get from them is a bit more...complicated...than from something like Cyclops' work. More specifically, that sinister edge I mentioned previously always seemed to feature prominently in them. Without knowing the man behind the curtain, I've made a lot of assumptions over the years as to why your stories are written the way they are. But, seeing you open up over the past couple months, I fear I may have been projecting my own feelings onto your stories and "misinterpreting" them all along. So, since you seem to be in a sharing mood lately, I figure I should get it straight from the horse's mouth: Given that you have such a favorable attitude toward "assimilation" or "communion," why do your stories seem to draw from the thriller/horror genres? Or do you even think of them that way? Is it all just in my head?

@Anonymous I don't want to hijack Rubbrsome's comment section, but thanks :) Leave a comment on my story if you want to discuss the possibility of me going forward with the story
