Ab3 huge thanks for your kind comments - I had thought this story had sunk without trace. My plans for the next chapter involve dinner party for two daddies both with remote control lads, Finn recovers a bit and takes himself and the remote control unit (evidence) down to the local police station, gloop capsule starts running out, time for the Doctor to fill it up again. Hope that will satisfy for now!

You go this chapter out with impressive speed! And it also answered my question on how they could be altered from their need for rubber. Those two are definitely in for a wild ride as they change.

The story is great, but I don't think he can outsmart the Foundation. The SCP Foundation will eventually win (because it is a very powerful organization) and have dealt with gods, demons and other monsters for centuries. The Foundation has many powerful artifacts and people (creatures) that can easily deal with Daniel and it is unlikely that his ability to control the mind and part of reality will help him.++ don't forget Chaos Insurgency, GOC, etc.

@[Zander](/user/show/10015044) This story is inspired by the SCP Foundation, but I’ve made sure not to say that it’s supposed to be set in their universe. The organization that Simon is up against is only a stand-in. And if you haven’t read the original SCP-3088, you totally should! (it’s a personal fav) The organization doesn’t lose, but it definitely doesn’t “win” either. Maybe you’ll get some ideas on where I’m gonna take this story :D Thanks for the comment! Hope I didn’t come off as confrontational, just trying to clarify some things.

@[Lucas](/user/show/10003070) After reviewing the skip, it seems like a more "realistic" ending would be for the organization to decide to cut their losses and seal the town off from the rest of the world. Although, my inner pervert can't help but imagine how much hotter it'd be if he somehow did manage to turn the tables on them and ended up using their resources to spread his influence beyond just the town...and hey, maybe pushing the story in that slightly more fanciful, supervillain-esque direction would make it feel less awkward to write about? Just spitballing :innocent:

@[Lucas](/user/show/10003070) Everything is fine, thanks for the adequate response to my comment). In general, there are a lot of hot guys in the SCP world and other characters (for example, Cain and Abel) it would be cool if someone wrote a story about how Cain and then Abel were made secret sex slaves (using hypnosis). Although it will be difficult for Cain to do this due to his ability to reflect absolutely everything that threatens him, etc. But still, it would be fun to read a story about it (how someone slowly but correctly corrupts them and turns them into their sex slaves).

I agree that most likely the city will be isolated from the rest of the world and the memory of the people of the whole world will be erased. No one will be able to enter and exit the city, turning the city into a Zone. I think this would be the perfect ending to this story, because no matter how powerful our main character is, he still cannot resist the Foundation (because the Foundation has artifacts much more powerful than the protagonist's artifacts) and besides, the foundation is not the only powerful organization in the SCP world

As soon as i saw the author's name i knew it was going to be a good read and yet again you have not disappointed in any way, its been good to have the conversion documented I do wonder why the difference in drones, are we going to be an uprising of the Drones hence the (S) drones

@[MalSkin](/user/show/131172) Thanks for the compliment, MalSkin. Reading your comment, I agree that there has to be some kind of problem. But I'm not thinking that it would come from a drone. But a good story needs to have conflict. And to be honest, there wasn't that much conflict in this particular story. The subject did resist the conversion. But other than his futile attempts, everything went according to the Recruiter's plan. Nobody is really asking about the Recruiter. Is he a drone: maybe an R-Drone? He doesn't seem to be because he talks of a hopeful conversion and he has to jack off to obtain his own pleasure. So he must be a human acolyte. In my mind, the drones are perfect, and the humans are flawed. So if there was to be a conflict or opposition to the drone conversion, it would come from humans. And having a human recruiter could be the weak link in their organization. If I were to write another chapter, I would definitely up the conflict that challenges the drone organization.

I'm about halfway through writing part 6 of this story, but I'm not sure I should finish it. Looking at the ratings, it falls into the BOTTOM 20% of two categories. I mean, I wasn't expecting top ratings for my first attempt, but if it's THAT bad, I'm kind of embarrassed to continue. Clearly I'm not in the same league as my favorite authors. But I'm glad I got it "out of my system" anyway... it felt good.

@[Millard](/user/show/914224) It's definitely not the bottom 20%, believe me. Actually, your ratings are all above average (you have more than 4.3 in most if not all categories), but the number of ratings is very low. That's not an uncommon issue, over time the number of reatings will increase. However, if the number of readers is declining throughout the series, it's an indication that the theme is not that interesting to most readers. But that doesn't mean that the story is bad. Don't let that discourage you. You're writing stories for your own enjoyment, if many other people get a lot of enjoyment out of them, that's an additional bonus.
