I continue to love the way you write this, and if I had one tiny criticism, it's that while 99% of the time you show, for some reason you just out-and-out tell us Ethan's strange and contradictory attributes/powers, when I think the subtle acts of gazing into his eyes or suddenly changing their minds you already do is enough for us to figure it out for ourselves. I like figuring out what's up with these fun supernatural characters, so it's a little disappointing (but just a little!) to have the game given up for us. But again: bangin' stories in a fun world!

Funny you should mention, @[DaymionMC](/user/show/10033419). In some now-deleted comments on Ethan’s first instalment, there was some confusion as to how his powers worked or what was going on, so I decided in *Laundromat* to just lean into explicit explanation as a narrative device and try to mine it for humour. Individual mileage on that idea may vary, I suppose. Regardless, thank you for your comments! I’m glad the series is working for you on the whole.

I love this series and Ethan so much. There's something almost sinister about Ethan's combination of traits, as if a trickster god had placed a particularly subtle curse on him. I adore it. It's also got this fun little slapstick/farce thing going for it. Anyone who was giving you low marks for writing must have been confused at the lack of typos or bad grammar in the story....

Eh, there’s no accounting for personal taste. I’ve got no grudge; just enough vanity to make a public plea for clarity ;) @[DaymionMC](/user/show/10033419)

This was so damn cute. I had a blast reading it, and I think you may have had a blast writing it. ;-)

Very appropriate title: how far the mighty have fallen! I too am enjoying this very much. I keep reminding myself that Billy WAS, at some point, a VICTIM -- Jake's VICTIM. I would LOVE to see a flashback of that exact moment. I want to see when Billy turned from a willing participant (he must've been at some point), to the point when he said 'enough' but Jake didn't listen, to the point that he vowed to take vengeance on Jake to meticulously plan his downfall. Without these background for me, Billy is just annoying after he pop Jake's cherry. Just my take.

@Anonymous I do get what you mean. Billy has taken his to a whole other level. This has always been Jake…and now Matt’s story and I’ll probably stick with that for now, but Ia spinoff/flashback tale is definitely something to consinder

Yesss been waiting for this. Genuinely the best story on here - plenty of plot without sacrificing sexiness, and perfect justification for why a drone life sounds like heaven
