Enjoyable buildup! Definitely following this one. Do we learn what is a _phylopheliac_ in the story? I don’t know that word and the internet didn’t help me.

I get that you did this for the toxic masculinity competition and I think you filled the brief and then some, _buuuuuut_... God _damn_ was there a good story there without it. You're very good at descriptiveness, because I could see the dungeon, see the monitors, see the prisoners, and feel what they were feeling. It was all incredibly hot at very well written. (Gotta say, I hated the Jamie thing though)

I've been reading your stories for years now and I just have to say you've come a long way when it comes to the quality of your work. Every part of the story is fun to read, the non-sex points actually carry weight and aren't just there to connect the fucking parts. The characters have emotion and arcs and it's all just top notch work. Great stuff dude!

@Mr. Vertigo Thank you, thank you! That means so much to me. I think I have improved as well, and my style has changed. I try to focus a lot more on characters now. I'm glad you are along for the ride. Actually, when I previewed this chapter I got a lot of feedback that the flashbacks were disruptive or unnecessary, but I'm glad I stuck to my guns and kept them in :)

omg yes great build up from the previous chapter to this one focusing on the daddy coach with a caring protective streak <3 Daddy coach just wants the best for poor luke :)))

@[AdibHass](/user/show/910212) Daddy coach will help Luke however he can... even if that means he has to reluctantly slam that fat bubble butt with his big dick all night long ;)

Another great chapter in this series! Although, I'll admit, I'm actually beginning to feel a bit bad for Luke now. Good to know he has such good friends to help him scratch that itch! Hope things get resolved between Luke and Sammy soon, Luke's aloofness about the whole situation was rather cute! Good work, keep it up!

@[Sebastián Apollo](/user/show/10029736) I'm glad you feel sympathy for Luke! That means you care about the character and I conveyed him well. And next chapter will be all about Sammy!!

Just found this and I love it!

Wow. Truly great. I second everything already said. I was also reading this “left to right” across the branches as each level was added. And I enjoyed the humor sprinkled in — like sharing Netflix passwords! That still has me laughing. Brilliant!

@[Beaner](/user/show/2654278) I'm so glad the humor worked, haha, I had a lot of fun with it! And I love hearing how different people engaged with the story—it's very exciting to me. 😁 Thank you for your really nice comments!

@The Author (name hidden due to challenge) "The medium is the message." When i first saw this story, the summary didn't make it sound like my thing. What intrigued me was the choice to use branching paths. So i read chapter 1, was annoyed at Micah, felt bad for Xavier, and thought "that was fine". A lot of people in the comments were posting which choice they wanted next, and i think we all thought you'd choose one, even though you didn't say that anywhere. So imagine my surprise when two new chapters released. I think i read "Micah was wrong" first and then came back, but it might have been the other way round. And imagine my surprise when it was revealed there were now two Xaviers. Neither Bruno or Micah were really my thing, but i was intrigued. Then the next three chapters came out, continuing Micah's and Bruno's (and Tony's) stories and adding magical elements with Ivan (the incubus support group was a fantastic idea). When i realized you were going to keep adding branches, possibly one for each floor and that they were going to keep affecting each other, that's when i knew this was something special. The genius of this story is that it used its medium, branching choices, to tell a story that you couldnt tell with another medium. A lot of people think that if you like a book or a comic, that it should be adapted to a movie or a series (true if manga and anime as well), and while i enjoy adaptations, i find that you often lose something because the medium affects the story you're telling. Books, comics, movies, tv serials, animation ect are all different mediums and have different strengths and weaknesses. For example, comics show for simultaneous story telling and internal thoughts in a way tv and movies really can't do. So here we have a story you really can't tell any other way than a digital branching story. You can approximate it with a physical "choose your own adventure book", but that would be a lot of flipping and a pain to format. You could do a visual novel, but you wouldn't be able to switch branches and would be much more committed to any given branch. This way you can explore them at your own pace and at your own leisure. Personally the way i did it was starting at the lowest floor for each branch (Micah) and then moving up. So Micah, Bruno; Micah, Bruno, Ivan, and so on, so that i saw the effects of the new rule before i saw what it was or how he got it. Particular shoutout to how you wrote Tony and Bruno, Ivan, and Gerri. You took what could have been just two security guards using their power and gangbanging someone and made me love them; i was sold when they put their jackets on and other him. Ivan was right up my ally because I'm a monster fucker and love muscle growth and transformation. And Gerri... There's a trope in stories with multiple love interests, particularly harem stories, called "The Last Girl" (not to be confused with "The Final Girl", which is about slasher films) where the last love interest introduced is the one the main character ends up with. Despite having the least amount of screen time by a wide margin (we already knew Zeus's deal), i was sold on Gerri completely. I believed that this guy would actually fall for Xavier, and that after everything he had been through, Xavier would feel the same. So i was very happy with the final chapter and the ending we got (finding out that who he originally was...see above monster fucker note). And of course everyone talking about how they wanted to be his boyfriend and the absolutely banal stuff they wanted to do with him was both hilarious and touching. Plus you wrote an entire novel length story in less than a month. Sure, some of it was the same from branch to branch, but that's no mean feat. This is one of the most clever stories I've ever seen, a fantastic use of medium that tells a story that couldn't otherwise be told (and reinforces the themes i barely touched on) and you should be proud (or don't; i'm not your mother).

@[BlindSeer0](/user/show/381024) Oh my goodness, *thank* you for this extremely generous comment!! I loved reading your analysis! And I've been so curious about how people would interact with the story. So hearing you describe in thoughtful detail how you engaged with it and how it drew you in was really great. I was definitely aiming to write a story with a 'start-to-finish' plot arc, but one where the nature of the plot was inseparable from the branching-stories way of telling it... I knew it might be a risk to do so, so hearing that it worked so well for a lot of readers is so gratifying. Again, thank you for your comment. I really loved reading it, and I'm so glad the story was an enjoyable experience for you and that you had fun exploring its chapters!

Very good! I would love to see the apartment building pop up again! It seems like a good setting for TF/mythical stuff in the future! I'd love to see someone else interact with incubi anonymous. Honestly don't think we're going to see a better story for a while, but I'm excited to see the rest of your work.

@[Endee](/user/show/10015246) Aw! Thank you for this really nice comment! I'll have to see if more stories occur to me for this setting, but I'm *very* charmed that people like it this much. 😁 It's very high praise, so thank you!
