I concur with the people praising your talent @Neon Demon. This story may have the odd editorial lapse, but it's terrific writing. It's become my go to when I'm ready to shoot, and hasn't failed me yet. One of the things about really good writing is that it keeps the reader constantly intrigued and engaged. It gives you just the right amount of details, and lots of little mysteries that have you imagining all sorts of fascinating scenarios. There are hints all over the place, which may or may not get fleshed out into answers. And as we saw in this chapter, answers often create new mysteries to wonder about. Thanks for letting us see what happened to Jack and Dylan. That's one bit of resolution. But there's so much left to wonder about. What was Minotaur's fate and why did that "fucker" deserve it? Do all of Master's drones get to play with their cocks on Sundays? Why does DS-008/Horizon have a voice lock when DS-005/Dusk and DS-011/Pet do not? Which state is the norm for Master's superdrones and lesser drones? Is it a punishment or part of DS-008/Horizon's "breaking in"? What is Cerberus? Will that little dab of latex that snuck into Luxor cause his eventual submission to Master Myriad? And, of course, the central conundrum of whether Jamie will eventually find his bliss as Master's DS-013/Daybreak superdrone or remain unhappily Kid Rocket in the drudgery of his service to the League and some conventional notion of "heroism." Gee, I wonder which one I'd rather see? I don't know that we need the details of every superdrone's story, but DS-005/Dusk and DS-008/Horizon are such great subsidiary characters that it would be wonderful to read prequels with their stories. From the way Theo was talking, I wouldn't be surprised if he were a latex fetishist to begin with, and the voice lock is there because he fantasized about being a gimp. And assuming what Master said about the relationship between voluntary submission and power boosts was the truth, then clearly, Midnight wasn't the only one who came willingly into Master's service. And then there was Master's comment that willingness is a spectrum. Is it willingness at the time of submission that's the key, or does it have to be willingness while still completely or mostly free? Or maybe it's the length of struggle during the conversion process that's key - ie. the struggle could drain a super's powers, such that there's less and less to boost by the time they finally submit. Oh well, thank you for all these horny mysteries to ponder, and please keep up the great work.

That breadstick scene may have just completely broken me. I was gonna quote it to highlight how much I loved it, but it kept going and kept raising the hijinks so far that it would have been basically a copy and paste job for one "lol" comment. You know, the logic might not always be here, I may not be devoted to every character you've created, Sam might sometimes be a little more ditzy than you quite intended him to be, but none of that matters. This is a classic bedroom farce on a cosmic scale and I am _so_ there for it.
