Thanks for the comment! Lemme see if I can address some of your thoughts. The more submissive pack members are meant to be a bit more….I don’t wanna say naïve but more carefree. Little less run down by life. Oak and Nyx are meant to be around 23-24 and lil Sparky is written to be about 19-20. Where as Ruby and Bright are intended to be around their late 20s to early 30s. And Titan is meant to be a guy around his early to mid 40s. Not that every puppy pack is built like that but I thought it seemed fitting for the fantasy. I have been a bit vague about sizes. But the implication is that Skippy is on the shorter side of things, maybe 5’3-5’5 tops. That’s where some of the attitude comes from, trying to compensate for being short. Sparky is about the same size but skinnier and not as built. Picture some of the guys from fun sized boys but looks closer to his actual age. In order of tallest to shortest. It’s Titan at 6’4-6’6 ish. Ruby is around 6 foot even. Bright is about 5’10. Oak is about 5’9, almost the same as Ruby and same height in boots. Nyx is about the same. And Sparky is about 5’5 if he’s standing on tip toes. He’s a small fella. As for the last one that’s a bit intentional again. It’s meant to show that Sparky is…..sheltered in suppose would be a good word for it. The pack tends to shield him from the rougher stuff due to his past and their desire to protect him and let him be little. He’s not stupid by any means he is fully aware they kidnapped this dude and are doing some fairly fucked up things to him. He may not know the full scope of what’s going on downstairs, but he knows that nobody would genuinely hurt this dude and it’s clear to him that turning the guy into a puppy is better then another homophobic asshole cop running around with an ego to match. That’s where he gets the “no one here is a monster” mentality. It’s less he has rose colored glasses on and more he is meant to kinda reflect a bit of the child like innocence where you think your parents/siblings can do no wrong. He is the baby after all haha. The best way to prove me wrong is to write something that makes me give you flowers instead of criticism. It's just that simple. You're free to think the work is terrible, and comment anyways. You're _not_ free to appoint yourself final speaker on the matter, or life coach to the author.
