This is a hot setup. I understand he’s kind of irrelevant to the story, but I would’ve liked to have seen master. Especially if he turned out to be ugly, selfish and nothing to write home about. A city or world full of slaves convinced their master is the hottest thing ever, when he knows he didn’t use to be and still isn’t except for their conditioning, is really hot. I’m curious if master left any of his friends free, or if he’s enslaved everyone.

@MonsterMash62 I think that would be a very different story, one that I'm personally not so interested in writing, although I welcome any other authors who want to play in this fictional universe. I think it's hard to write a good mass-enslavement story from the Master's POV. Topaz172 managed it by toggling back and forth between different focalizing characters, masters and slaves and soon-to-be-slaves, while presenting multiple masters in conflict with each other. That sense of dramatic conflict is what's missing in most Master-focused mass-enslavement stories I've read. Often it's just the Master describing his plans for further expansion, those plans going off without a hitch, and then the Master describing his next plans. By the same token, I think this story would be pretty boring if you told it from the Master's POV, because his plans seem to be going flawlessly, without any resistance. It only becomes interesting when we focus on the stories of the individual slaves and their personal struggles.

@Hypnothrill that’s fair enough. I probably should’ve spent more words in my comment explaining how much I did enjoy this story as is. It was very hot and very well-done. And the choice of characters to focus on made it work very well. Getting inside Andy’s head as he transitioned to Slave and then to M###### was very sexy.

@MonsterMash62 I think the big advantage of the narrative mode I used--limited third-person, focused on Andy's POV and often using free indirect discourse to get into his head (but no other characters' heads)--is that it does make the character's headspace and mental change very vivid. The disadvantage is that you can't do quite as much worldbuilding, showing what else is going on outside of the main character's limited perspective. (I did cheat a tiny bit though with that sentence about Connor becoming U17263, just because I thought that was a hot detail).

An even better sequel, that left quite the hooks to keep the reader intrigued. Like Martin said, the fucking was intense and superbly well-written. I wonder what is the issue with Xander's dad!

Now that was a very welcomed read. Excellent story, really, really well-written and hot as hell! Makes one wish they had had that back at school!

Hypnothrill is BACK! And what a return! This was achingly hot—I love how the seeds are planted early with Bryce’s text messages. The induction is short and sweet, the descriptions spot-on, and the conclusion that perfect mix of terrifying and erotic (takes me back to your adaptation of “Bulldawg Maker”: “You’re on your way. We’ll be seeing you soon”). HAIL to the KING!

@Feed Your Head Thanks! If there's one thing I'm good at, it's foreshadowing. I just liked the concept of a mind controller who has most of the resources he needs to carry out a mass enslavement, but right now, has only enough to take over the city one neighborhood at a time, invading a different neighborhood each day. On a darker note, I realized after I wrote the story that this whole scenario of gas bombings and "Reeducation Buses" must have been at least partly my response to all the Ukraine War imagery I've been inundated with over the past two months. And what is mind control porn other than a way to recover something erotic from the traumatic?

@Hypnothrill What poetry this is: "What is mind control porn other than a way to recover something erotic from the traumatic?" It's so true: the key word is control, isn't it? Trauma is, ultimately, a sensation of powerlessness--the inability to control what is happening either to you or in the world around you. In these stories, one person has a kind of control, and even if it's used for dark/evil purposes, it ultimately gives the reader a twisted sense of hope: if one person can take control, maybe they can, too. And through this lens, I come to understand some of your previous stories as well: "Hanging Chads" about elections, "Justice is Served" about a certain appointment to SCOTUS...the world feels increasingly out-of-control with members of the right-wing scrambling for power and stripping away rights. As the Overton window shifts to the right, the themes of your stories have changed as well, and I think that's a pretty amazing thing. It's odd to think of mind control stories as a way to cope with trauma, but if helps people, in some way, heal, then you must be doing something right. Well done, Hypnothrill. Well done.

I can't believe this doesn't have any comments yet, because I loved it, and I can't wait to see where it goes next. Usually, furry content is a turn-off for me, but here it worked, partly because the visual descriptions of the transformation are kept a little vague, to the point where it feels more like the men are giving in to their animal sides than actually becoming other species.

Our man Noam de Pluma recommended this story to me and I have to say, I'm into it! I'm glad it's already complete, and I'm excited to see the character development that the characters go through.
