@Jack Thank you so much for your comment, and my apologies it's taken more than a week to reply. I wanted to sit at my PC and type comfortably and not scrawl a quick reply on my phone, and then it slipped my mind. Originally, I did intend to write several more chapters. My idea was that I would stay with Jack never using more wishes and I would explore what happened when he, emboldened by his wish, had the confidence to start messing around with other guys; eventually he would realize he was enslaving them, and then what would he do? (The genie's idea that he wanted to collect a harem was in fact the original point of the story, though not the character's intentions.) However, when I actually wrote the first part it came out much more intense than I expected, and even had a slightly romantic vibe, and more shockingly *people were into that*. The story as you can tell from the icons got good ratings. Authors can see the actual numbers; they were intimidatingly good which made me feel like it was either too much to live up to, or a fluke. So I just kind of bounced away from writing for a while, and kept thinking about how I wanted to proceed with follow-up. However, nothing ever felt like it was going to go as right as the first part if I stayed on the original plan. I also found myself less excited by the idea of exploring Jack's increasing corruption as well, as I had another story idea about someone getting more explicit magical powers and being corrupted by them. Meanwhile, I did like the potential of the intense dynamic between the two guys, and heartened by the response people had to the romantic elements, I decided to take a chance with the weirdest idea I ever had for a story, the tale of Santa bringing someone a helpless himbo as a Christmas present. And that of course, is [the Reindeer Clause](https://www.gayspiralstories.com/series/show/10000408) which ended up as an 88,000 word novel. (Have you read it? People said they liked it...) I really appreciate you letting me know this story remains one of your faves and that it's gotten you off many times. I mean really, that makes me feel very good. (Are we talking like once a year or like... once a month??). I have so many ideas I don't have time to write as it is, but you never know, it's always possible I'll have that writer's equivalent of the speorg note for this story and suddenly a sequel will jump the line. I just honestly don't see it happening this year. But writing what will turn people on though... that's always motivation.

@Nocturne13 I have read The Reindeer Clause! It's good, but I do prefer this story. And I come back to this story every couple of weeks. Sometimes I just like reading it, but most of the time I'm fucking dousing myself in jizz.

@Jack Since you have read this so many times, I wanted to let you know before you freak out that I did just make some very minor edits, mostly just final proofread type corrections that never got uploaded. (When you get this comment they won't be live yet; likely by tomorrow though.) Plus I cross-published it to gay Cupid stories. If you do see any new booboos next time you read it, just let me know. I was careful to not change anything substantial so it should still be the story as you like it. I just added a few lines here and there which didn't get onto the page before.

@Nocturne13 I've read the new version a couple of times in the last two days, and I've spent a long minute trying to figure out exactly what to say. You already know that this has been one of my favorite stories on the site so far. These new edits have taken what was incredible and made it even better. I think I caught all of them, but the one that just fucking melted me entirely was "a part of me belongs to you now, and it always will." God, I made a sound when I read that line that I'm not proud of. I'm definitely going to be reading this story _more_ now that you've added on to it. Of course, I also have to deal with the insanely painful idea that there's no chapter 2. There's a sweetness and a romanticism here that's hard to find and harder to write! You've got Finn, the hunk sex worker who can't really have genuine connections, and Jack, the sweet twink who can't seem to find genuine connections. I love the dynamic that the genie and the magic brings, but I really, really want those two to find happiness with each other! THIS STORY IS JUST SO GOOD! :sob: :sob: :sob:

@Jack Not to be a tease but yeah there's more. But not a chunk that you would find satisfying yet, I think. So, more is coming. It wasn't planned but the brain spits out what it wants to spit out.

@Beardfull1 It has on my SubscribeStar account, I might post the subsequent chapters here in a few weeks once they've gotten me as many subscribers as they can, but if you want to read chapters 2&3 sooner check it out. There'll only be four chapters for now but I'll return to it at some point.
