I consistently come back to _Geometric Affairs_ for many reasons, not least of which are the rarity of the subject matter and the amazing way in which it is treated. The psychological aspect of the story fits perfectly and helps to inform both narrative and action. John's heroic efforts to save Mike from the otherwise-guaranteed fate of being a mindless power-generating cube and their interpersonal (or inter-geometric) relationship progressing to intimacy, trust, and romance are handled very well. Even though this story might be understood at first glance as a kind of body horror tale, I tend to think that in the end balance it is a love story where everything that takes place is for the best. This twist makes _Geometric Affairs_ even more satisfying as a read and one of my firm favourites among the vast archive of Gay Spiral Stories.

This was a great story! I loved that Harold’s known about this ability for years and has these set rules. He’s a great protagonist - he’s kinda tortured by what he does to these guys, but he also can’t help himself. And I totally wasn’t expecting that convo between Harold and Carter where Carter totally believes him about his cum (and actually wants to change). I’m curious if Harold asking if Carter knows anyone else with his powers is going to come back in a future chapter, but even if this is just a one shot, it’s awesome! Thanks for sharing this with us! Your stories are some of my faves on this site.

@[Hypno Switch](/user/show/2185111) Thank you so much! I was honestly surprised Carter believed him too, one of those writer things where a character shocks me and changes the story direction lol. I don't have more chapters planned right now, but I definitely left it open to more on purpose, as you picked up, so definitely a future consideration.

I never know how much is the author and how much is the AI, but this is a really good bit of world building. I'm intrigued.

The idea of the story is good, but the implementation is unfortunately bad.

@[hmsl](/user/show/72172) I've been reading stories on this site without an account for at least a year now, but your story has hit me with so many different emotions that I just had to make an account to express to you my feelings. This was such a vividly written piece that I, even suspecting that I have aphantasia, felt like I was experiencing every scene in the story in real life. And you've beautifully tackled a lot of very relatable themes that I would have not expected from a site for hypnosis erotica: parallel universes, childhood trauma, domestic and workplace abuse, unfulfillment in life, existentialism, the search for happiness, hidden desires, living a different life and the freedom from societal pressures. And the ending was, for me, a melting pot of strong emotions: elated that Harold and Jonathan broke the shackles that tethered them to their past abusive lives and became the people they always wanted to be; sorrow that the past Harold and Jonathan, with the memories of their journey, were essentially wiped out from existence, for better *and* for worse; but also the sweet, sweet feeling of revenge from knowing that Esther and Preston will suffer a steep fall from grace when they can no longer exploit Harold for all he's worth. You've even made me feel a little jealous (in a good way) and wanting to become Brock myself, or have a friend like Brock! Your excellent writing has brought me deep into an introspection of myself and my own journey through life in the past couple of days, and it has left me yearning over our short lifespans relative to everything I wish I could be or do, especially when I feel like I've already lost two decades of my life, although through little fault of my own (I have late-diagnosed autism, ADHD, and social anxiety). But it just gave me all the more motivation to push forward while I'm still relatively young to be the person that I want to be, and be free from regrets in my later years. It's a damn shame to see that this story seems to have fallen under the radar, because it really is an amazing piece of writing. Bravo mate, and thank you for all the effort that you've put into this story and bringing us along for the journey!

@[hunterlism](/user/show/10060533) Thank you so much for taking the time not only to read my story but to share such a deeply personal and thoughtful response. Knowing that my writing resonated with you on such an emotional level means more to me than I can put into words. When I started writing this, I never expected it to touch on so many themes that would connect with readers in such profound ways. To hear that it made you reflect on your own journey, to push forward toward the person you want to become, is truly the highest compliment I could ever receive. The fact that it sparked introspection, a mix of emotions, and even a bit of (good) jealousy over Brock just makes me feel like I did something right. It’s never too late to become the person you’re meant to be. If this story helped in even a small way to fuel that fire in you, then I feel incredibly honored.

Bravo !
