Thanks for the feedback everyone! I fully intended to go the traditional route with the boss being changed, but once I started writing it felt better to go in the direction that it did.

Mr Hardy is returning, yes? (pleading please). Can't wait for more of his repressed as fuck shenanigans, good and drunk and totally out of it. Gosh indeed.

This was a hot story. I do have a word of caution for you going forward, having read many drone stories and seeing some of the common pitfalls. Please be cautious with the alpha-numeric codes in place of names. These are *not* anywhere near as easy to follow as a regular name, and writing a typical scene where you differentiate characters only by drone numbers will make your story nearly unreadable. Simply treating the boys as a group as you mostly did here is an acceptable work around. Just don't fall into the trap of thinking that CT-X10, CT-A13, and CT-B09 will work anything like Jeff, Steve, and Ralph for purposes of readers being able to follow a narrative. They absolutely don't.

@amul that's a really helpful advice. For now, I'll be introducing a few of the boys one by one so that it should be fine. But it's true, that this might be confusing and I need to be more cautious. Thank you for the comment.
