Kind of a dark turn at the end, but it was pretty well telegraphed and it fit. Excellent writing, descriptions, very erotic. Great job.

I think I know who this is. Did you participate in the Halloween 2020 contest? This was great. It gave me the cellar of the "Cabin in the Woods" image with the "Friday the 13th - the series" feels. I really enjoyed this and hope that there will be more stories from this. Good Stuff!

@Redneck Cubby I think I described this as "Cabin in the Woods but a karmic justice fantasy" when my boyfriend asked what I was writing! I'm glad you enjoyed!

@The Author (name hidden due to challenge) So So Good. I totally got it. I picture myself grabbing the sheriff badge hanging from the fishing line. Unless a pair of Motor Patrol Boots fall out from somewhere. 😉 You are one of my top 3 so far. I'm reading everyone's entry just to be fair Please continue this somehow.

Never thought we'd see another installment of this, but I'm thrilled to be wrong. Can't wait for the next part!

Holy pleasant surprise! I loved the old chapters of this series and it's so nice to see you add more. Loved this installment!

Now THIS is terrifying. You've evolved, dear Hypnothrill! As you say, most of your stories end with the protagonist either knowingly or unknowingly being absorbed into whatever pumped-up, dumbed-down collective you've created--so seeing our protagonist "survive" and realize that not only is he doomed, but ALL OF HUMANITY is as well, is a great twist on your classic formula. I also love the mental change in the diary entries, because we can clearly see that there was an opportunity to stop what happened...but the professor refused, and destroyed the world for it. It's a great study in pride and how small actions can lead to terrifying consequences. Hail to the KING. :)

@Feed Your Head Thanks for commenting on the diary entry part of the chapter, because I loved how that came together as a character study of Dr. Gould and his hubris. There are a lot of stories on here with an arrogant scientist as the narrator, usually bragging about some kind of mind control device they invented. I wanted to do a version of that kind of character, but have him thwarted by the very forces he unleashed, forces beyond his control.
