i like that the story documents the process of increasing mental and physical control of one person over another, but that isn't enough. The narration seems like an objective report for a science experiment. What's missing for me is a real sense of who these characters are and what the characters are feeling. i don't just want to be told what they are feeling; i want to feel what they are feeling.

It's been more than twenty minutes since this chapter came out, which means I'm going through withdrawals until the next one drops. I read this one three or four times, and I really have to agree with some of the other comments made. Emit's journey is surprisingly sweet, and (being a hopeless romantic myself) I admit I hope those feelings of love continue to grow.

Hooray!! Not only are you back writing but you finished this arc of the story!!! Good news to hear. I like that Pine and Mike can reflect on the things that have happened to them.

All I want to know is, will there be a sequel where Tim finally learns how to juggle (Helm and Evan's) balls? The suspense......!

I love what you're doing with Dave's military boys especially Bobby. Please write the next chapter soon so that I can see Preppy's addition to Dave's playthings.

I love that this story is both like "oh, this is *hot*!!" and then like "ooh, this is a sustained commentary on the nature of power + the deceptions of self-image, as seen through the lens of MC erotica tropes", and frankly, I come *just* as hard to the latter, awww yyeeeaAAAArhhgdgsh phew! (But also: I was thinking about this story, and how usually I tend to identify with the person being 'put under'. And the way this story deliberately avoids getting into the head of Henry when he's 'put under' is kind of perfect — as a reader, it denies me that identification, because *Codec* lacks it totally. Instead all the focus is on the way Codec is overwriting Henry's desires and personality and turning him into his sexual plaything: always focusing on Codec's POV, and on the irony of how Codec *ought* to be able to read Henry's mind and empathize with him perfectly... But he can't, and he doesn't, for reasons unrelated to his superpowers, but very related to "power corrupts" and "deceptions of self-image" and awwwWWw yyeeeaAAAArhhghhgdgsh hnnggh, phew!)
