I decided not to pull my punches on this one tho. @BlindSeer0 - I checked your favourites list - I only make up 20% of the stories! Those are rookie numbers! Pump 'em up! For serious tho, thank you. It's an honour anytime someone hits favourite. But no, fuck you, I'm not gonna stop ;) I wasn't sure about including the weeping, but a few years ago something happened to me. The Anglican Church of Canada, which I grew up in, voted narrowly to perform same sex marriages. I was having lunch alone at a bar when I read the news on my phone. Suddenly I was crying in public. It felt like I was allowed to go home again. Did I? No. But it's beautiful to be welcome. (They've since changed their position again, because they're assholes.) @anon - Thanks bud! @Absman420 - Yeah, I love this take on him. I wanted to see if some of these thoughts sounded 'right' if I put them in his voice, and sure enough. Almost everything in the intro paragraphs in absolutely true. I do go to Pride, but mostly because I'm a pretty political person in real life, and I've been making sure that when my political party shows up at Pride it's to honour the queer community, not just themselves. Other than avoiding Pride, it's all true, right down to what my buddy said when I told him I was bi. Everything else is fiction - clubs aren't even open where I live. But I've had some incredible sex this week for sure. Lucky I'm married, so my bubble has a sexy as fuck husband in it. There was originally a line when God's rolling the joint where he says that he doesn't like to discuss metaphysics without weed, that's the whole reason he made it. I swapped it out for God getting consent, but yeah, weed might be required for that discussion. Sometimes I wish we had a GSS fan convention, but mostly cuz I wanna spend a weekend somewhere getting baked with you people and having fun conversations. I actually tried the capitalization for Him. I also tried giving each paragraph a number like it was a bible verse. Both of em just sorta drew the mind out of the story and into the meta. There's a message in this one (I mean, there's a message in all of my stories, these are just sexy morality plays) and I didn't want to distract from the immersion. I thank you for inspiring this and for inspiring me. You really got in my head here.

Okay.... now isn't THIS God WAY preferable to the Xian God (or, at least, the Catholic God)? And yet, we still beat ourselves up thinking some misogynistic, homophobic God is the "real" one... I'm super-glad to see our chat found its way into fiction (autobiographical fiction, one hopes) and I'm ready to have another about the body being the physical manifestation of the soul. (We'll get stoned first.) One thing you might want to consider as an edit: for "God," capitalize the "He's" and "Hims" -- stylistically it will be more in tune with biblical stuff AND it will give subtle prominence to the character. I really enjoyed this.

You really have to stop writing perfect stories. They're clogging up my favorites list. i grew up Jewish so this wasn't a problem i had personally, but someday some kid, or even an adult, is going to find this story and they're going to cry, just like Jason did. Great job.

i love a story with lots of context and character development. For me it makes the sex even hotter. What more can i say except that i would love to go to Camp Wild Rush with someone like the transformed Jason!! i can hardly wait!

I especially appreciate a comment on this part, since I think it originally got fewer views than the others due to some technical issues with the predecessor sites. Also the comments that I've seen have been that people think part 3 is generally the hottest part of the series so far, so I am very gratified you are impressed with the intensity of the sexual exploration in this part!

I saw the Cycle One stories come up in "latest stories." I loved the original and saw that you wrote this latest one so I had to dig in. I thought you were taking another story like Pollination and writing your version of it. As I was reading this, I kept thinking, "gym, old man, firemen, etc it has everything in the original and I'm not catching any variations. What is Absman up to?" Then I got down to the bottom and saw that I had already rated it. I didn't even notice the title was faded in the list of stories indicating that I already read it. Funny story I thought for what it's worth. My favorite part of this story both the first time and this time: let's take a case back to the firehouse. Onward to the new story now....
