@[Rock Creek Werewolf](/user/show/10002145) The other interesting there over in this chapter is that while it's mostly from Paul's point of view, his narration shows some major clues. Father Ray doesn't open the curtains likely because he doesn't want to see the gym possibly- we know he ran into Pete and that...probably had some...complicated affects on him. Additionally, Paul seems to have managed to stumble his way into the non-human parts of the gym- like when he ran into Yousef. That doesn't seem to be something he should have been able to do- unless mondjugen have that ability- or he's something else. The direct message that he got likely is either from another supernatural creature, a hunter of the paranormal, somebody hunting down a loved one who went wolf who has been on the hunt in a more sneaky way than the FBI agent, or FBI agent method all over again. Either that or a very fixated naturalist who likes wolves. Mahmood I think I got confused about over the fact that he he has grandchildren through his other sons and so I thought he was a grandfather to Yousef for some reason- but looking back what you have listed (that he is Yousef's father) makes sense. Which also means Yousef is an uncle....interesting thing to ponder how the dynamic is there. Was Yousef the cool uncle I wonder? Though the fact mahmood was visibly affected by hearing a werewolf I think is also a sign he might wind up getting indirectly roped up in all of this. I do hope he makes it out unscathed as best as he can. Paul really has no idea what he's gotten himself into...I do think that he's potentially a mondjugen (you said some are knowing and some not known) and this whole thing is probably going to become very complicated for him. Of course, you can't blame him for not knowing- one's first hunch about people isn't to think there's a gym full of werewolves in town. But- the fact everybody in this town is so cagey and he's not getting warning signs from that (or he's dismissing them)- is likely going to bite him in the long run. Maybe it's just me, but if I ran into a town where everybody seems tense around each other and is leading you around in circles I'd probably not stick around for long- who knows when that'll boil over and who knows what the reason for them sending you around in circles is- though I do tend to be a cautious person in situations like that. Of course, that would make for a very boring story for Paul here- and so that probably won't happen. Then there's the fact somebody is probably going to come to Yousef from the king's court to start his seer training. Ruiz may want to keep Yousef to himself and his pack as an advantage- but that probably won't work out for long. What the king wants- the king likely gets- and he likely wants Yousef for his own designs as well. Though to what end is the question? Securing his power (which arguably would make sense as wolf politics seem very volatile) or some other ambition is the real mystery here. Yousef in particular is kind of going through a lot of struggles right now in a way (as a commenter put it earlier- it's a dark night for him- where he is like clay or a steel in a kiln or crucible- he hasn't gotten as awful of a fate as some characters- but he is struggling. The question is weather or not like his namesake- who went from servant all the way to the man behind the throne of Egypt (with a little hint of complicated romantic situation mixed with romance gone complicated depending on the reading)- he's going to wind up becoming stronger for it. Both too have a connection to being seers- both of visions- though one of dreams in general, and the other of visions which seem to be sourced from Luna (though what Luna is as an entity- that's the real mystery. The lunarian orthodoxy likely has more information on this.)

I hope sweaters come back too! Shoukd have a jacket and sweater maybe every day even in their living space. Love the story and great job!
