Commissions don't really appeal to me, but I think there's some serious potential for anyone who wants to give that a try.

If they start accepting bitcoin or some other cryptocurrency then i'll probably get a paid account too but right now there isn't a paid anonymous route and i don't trust them any more than i'd trust facebook. You should use your newfound powers to do gpt3-fueled commissions :)

I like a lot of the imagery where you're describing the abandoned Manchester and Jafar's army of muscle zombies. I just feel like you skipped a few good story beats by skipping ahead to the moment where Marcus is the only freewilled man left. To me, it would be hotter if he was part of a small band of resisters who were getting picked off one by one as they succumbed to Jafar's power. But that's just my preference; this is still a very hot story, and I'm excited to see where it goes next!

I grabbed a paid account at AI Dungeon last nite, swapped over to the ‘dragon’ model, and used it to draft chapter 7. I’m seriously impressed by the difference in quality and consistency. Most of my edits and retries were about guiding the story in the direction I’ve got planned. With the older model I would have to make edits just to keep it from getting incoherent. The chapter I’m releasing later today is probably my last one with the gpt-2 model, I suspect I’ll be sticking with the more powerful model going forward. It felt... a little magic when I was drafting chapter 7 last nite. This story is a big experiment for me to see if I can write a good story using AI assistance. I’m really glad you pointed out my mistake, because I wasn’t that impressed at the output I was getting, given the hype that’s been happening around gpt-3.

Derek Williams, you're welcome. Do you have a paying account for AIDungeon? if you're accessing it either anonymously or with an account but not a premium account, then you're definitely using gpt2. If so, you may want to use gpt2 at huggingface instead. It lets you use the largest gpt2 model, with easy access to the temperature, time, and i forget but i think there's one other parameter. And the author interface is a big ol' text box so you can edit arbitrary parts of the story instead of the AIDungeon approach where you have to do individual undos and redos. It also usually gives you three continuation options to pick from each time rather than the AID approach of forcing you to repeatedly refresh if you don't like the one option. Finally, I don't know if this is true or not but subjectively it seems to me like it actually generates higher quality stuff if you're using gpt2.

This is great. I can see follow-up stories or it just stands on its own merits. Keep writing. Always good to have new talented writers on the site. As for the comment above mine, it only proves my long-standing point: it's not in the writing; it's in the editing. I'll bet you re-read this story a dozen times, and an error still slips in. Don't let it bother you. It happens.
