> Now I’m going to find porn with a muscle head getting fucked, think it’s Strong and blow my load. > There is not greater compliment for a writer of erotica than to know it's inspiring guys to get off! Wish I could be there to share the load.

Thank you, Derek, for that glowing review! A bit of a confession, then I'll answer some of your questions. When I originally posted this story in 2004, it was on the MGS (Muscle Growth Story) site and the ending was resoundly trashed by just about everyone -- wrong fetish! They wanted Strong to escape, to run away with Prince and live happily ever after with his new muscles. On that site, my stories were usually found to be "creepy" because I did the mind-control angle or implied that there was something sinister going on in the background (like in CYCLE ONE, etc), so I wasn't surprised -- albeit mildly disappointed -- that nobody liked the ending. Even as I argued that Strong got what he wanted -- to give in -- it tanked. So I've been waiting to see what the response would be here, anticipating the same negativity I got when I posted it last time. How nice that everyone here seems to "get it" so far. Right fetish -- here it's the muscle-growth that seems weird. Second confession: I "softened" something in this chapter. Originally, the Strongman raped his old editor Rawley in the hotel room -- I actually used the word "rape" which I think was the problem -- so I edited the wording a little bit to be more "forced himself on" his old editor Rawley and that reads a lot better to me. I think a lot of the push-back I got on this chapter originally was because people fixated on that moment. In my mind, the Strongman (like Palumbo before him) enjoyed dominating the little fey businessmen and it was a natural extension of whatever the gear was doing to him psychologically. And he knew he needed to silence Rawley to continue on in his role as the Strongman unimpeded. Whatever -- it was too much. I'm glad I dialed it back. > I’m so impressed by how well plotted it was. It was gripping (and it had me gripping) the whole way through. Most longer stories sort of wander off into the forest at some point, and I’m so stoked that this masterpiece kept a Strong focus all the way through. > First, thank you for the pun. To the point, when I first started writing this (June04), I intended it to be a Summer "Beach" novel, ten, maybe twelve parts, light, easy and fun. As I got into it, it just kept growing and growing and before I knew it, I had subplots going on. I had a lot of fun plotting this and thinking about ways to fuck with the reader's heads. (We talked about its structure in an earlier comment section.) I stayed with it mostly because I was determined to finish it. The last chapter was posted in Nov04, literally a half year later, but still on schedule! > What’s the deal with the costume being referred to as Roman and the driver being named Christian? There’s some kind of symbolism there that I’m skimming the surface on, but I’m not connecting it. > None that's intended, I promise. I was fucking this kid Christian at the time and I gave him a cameo.

"Shitting on white guys." Oh, was that what I was doing when I empathized with an Egyptian Muslim character's perceptions of the racism he encountered in America? Then you're really not going to like the rest of this story, snowflake.
