Fuck! I can already see potential for the military story; buzz cuts, restricted eating regimens and sleep schedules, proper address towards superiors, the male on male commaraderie, the possibilities are endless.

Thanks guys! The next chapter is going to be another guy getting infected like Chuck and Dave, but we're coming back to this space soon, never fear!

No problem. I'll definitely send you an e-mail and we can start discussing things.

It's your story and as long a you're happy with it then write what you feel. Readers come to stories with their own framework, so keep going with your story.

Aww sorry man, I'm the exact opposite! Can't get enough of that stuff, so i guess i went a bit overboard in my own story

If I were to write something set in a military academy, it would be entirely separate from this story. I am always happy to consider a collaboration, but I will not be ready to start writing anything new for a little while. If you email me we can discuss this further (my email is at the top of pretty much every chapter)

Swizzington, I've thought about those aspects of military school as well; it may be a bit impertinent of me to ask but if you're up for it maybe we could collaborate on a military/military academy verison of this. Perhaps Todd taking over a military academy nearby to push his recruits into the service academies (West Point/Annapolis etc.). It has some potential.

I definitely like this piece, but this chapter felt short and the assilimation felt a bit hurried; it could've been slowed down and Jake's disorientation could've been made more apparent. But I do want to see where the story goes, so please keep going.

Well, I was keeping my options open for your story, but after reading this part, I have to say I'm out on this story. I'm not a fan of the humilation aspect; it just seems to be reveling in it and that is something I can't get behind. I guess it's because I want to strive for something different in my own work with the theme of men in uniform that I just can't get behind this.
