It's a hard read because there are so many grammatical errors such as sentence fragments, etc. within the sentences. I'm happy that you continued the story, but you need to edit the work before you submit so readers can make it through your work without so much effort.

I really hope there's a backup of his mind stored somewhere. alternatively, having Alec find a note explaining everything when it's too late would make this feel like a kinky episode of the Twilight Zone or possibly Black Mirror.

Fuuuuuck. This is incredible. Your writing style and word choice is absolutely perfect. I couldn't write this well if I wrote for the next million years, and I'm a native speaker, so that's saying something. I really really hope for more, and I love this concept, this idea, and am so excited to see it continue. You're the best.

Martin, I really enjoyed this! Great job! That people feel something at the end is a credit to you as a writer. Can't wait to see where this goes.

> As one who just found out they have colon cancer, a story like this becomes personal to me. I'm sorry to hear that. I really hope your cancer can be cured and you get well again! Writing about a terminal illness is always troublesome because there's always somebody who's affected somehow. But it was a pivotal point of the story I want to tell. --- > Unexpectedly sad conclusion :( I'm happy that this came across. It's a bit of a hard thing to do, to convey emotion, if the protagonist from which perspective you tell the story from, is just a himbo. But there are going to be more chapters and I hope you'll find the actual conclusion a bit more satisfying! --- Thank you all for commenting! Keep 'em coming please!
