I agree with this whole creepy v. erotic discussion! This is an interesting conversation for the authors on this forum -- there are very few people who would understand that the way we do, especially those of us who capitalize on the creepy stuff, the alien invasions, the taking of slaves, etc. And honestly, it's not the first subject that comes up in any of my writing workshops.... I think it's our job, as writers -- as artists, if I may be so bold -- to push boundaries. We explore themes in fiction that could/should never exist in real life and we discover why human nature is what it is. POLLINATION is a horror story -- and if it had gone where I'd imagined it to go, it could be taken as a dire warning for the future. It just happens to be super-erotic. One of the things I like about rubbrsome's interpretation -- he's revealed his overall plans to me -- is he's looking at a MUCH BIGGER PICTURE. He's dropped a few hints about it in this chapter. It's gonna be a great ride -- scary AND erotic. I think the balance is beautiful.

He seems young and naive, to me. I got a sense he wasn't well socialized and just acts more childish than he really is. On top of that, he's riding high on his transformation and acting like an eager pup (some of his wolf brethren influencing the hive mind, perhaps). TL;DR I didn't find Junior's characterization creepy.

It's exactly where it should be. My personal preference would be to describe the shrinking and giants more, but these stories are amazing.

Hypnothrill Thanks for the clarification. Trust me, I always worry whether I've gone too far. I want readers to be creeped out and, yet at the same time, turned on. It's a very fine line to walk. So I wouldn't be surprised if I stumbled or lost my readers.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still enjoying the story, and some of the creepiest elements are also its hottest. (I love what you did with the flashback to show the violent assault on Jeff that transforms him into a cocksucking thrall). I just wanted to let you know how I was responding to Joe Jr's characterization.

Hypnothrill I totally understand your feelings of being creeped out. That is EXACTLY my intention. This story, and many other stories posted on this website, are pretty creepy when you think about them. In the original Pollination series, a man's balls literally explode on an airplane. In my first chapter, a father's back is broken while he and his son are being terrorized by wolves. In fact, your stories also have a major creep factor. In "A New Crop", I always wondered whether the melons are actually murdering the men in an "Invasion of the Body Snatchers" method? You never clarified whether men were killed, but it was certainly implied as there bodies were turned to dust. I'm doing the same thing here. I can certain give details on exactly what Joe Jr's age is. But I don't want to. I want readers to be creeped out. Maybe we'll learn more about Joe Jr when he's not in the presence of his father. His behavior could certainly be influenced by his presence. Do you act more respectful, child-like in the presence of your parents? I think quite a few of us put on the figurative "act" depending on what company we are with. And what kind of act or mask do we put on in that company? Anyways, if you're feeling creeped out, it's for a reason. I think aliens taking over the world wouldn't feel "wholesome" as a Disney sing-a-long. It would, in reality, be something much darker and infinitely more sinister.

I really like this chapter. It's cool to see the fusion of Absman's original story with Rubbrsome touches like the pure white droplets of cum. One small critique: a lot of Joe Jr's dialogue really does sound childish (like things a 13 year old boy would say), to the point that it's creeping me out a bit. You never specify his age, but I'd like to think he's 18+, and yet his dialogue doesn't support that interpretation.

I loved these transformations. Each straight frat boy doing a fantastic transformation to the new gay them. And WOOF with Griffen and Chad....I am going to go fuck in the woods now then lie in a puddle of mud, cum and sweat.
