To the person above me, yep. Exactly. If there was a chance that gay would win out then cool, fine, I can handle there being temporary straight conversion. But, as you said and I have seen him written, the straight mayor is gonna win in the end and that is where part, or most, of my problems and annoyances come from. So yeah, I agree with you.

Look, I agree that this story really doesn't fit the theme of this site. I also agree with the two posters above about how one shouldn't enable or sit quietly on anti-gay and homophobic ideas. BUT let us not say or suggest or hint that the writer, Wesley, is homophobic or a troll or anything like that. I think that goes too far and is wrong. He had a purpose in writing this story, a purpose with a philosophic reason designed to explore certain themes he found interesting. On that level the story isn't wrong or bad. I just think it doesn't belong HERE. Not that it doesn't belong anywhere. On the matter of Gay to Straight to me it belongs in certain stories as a temporary trait that leads to some cool event that must be overcome and when it does the once gay now straight person goes back to being gay and the straight guy or guys that made him temporarily straight are now gay themselves. Heck, if that happened in this series then I would have little problem. If after six chapters the once gay guys broke the conditioning, defeated the mayor, and made the town gay. Awesome. Cool. Yay, victory.

The owner of the site decides what belongs or not on his site. You have all the freedom to read or not read the individual stories, especially when they are properly tagged. Fighting homophobia (or anything) is not done by censoring the opinions of the homophobes. It is done by having convincing arguments against them. In this case, it's not even an opinion that is expressed, it's a story about characters who hold that opinion. It's fiction. Don't forget that in the past, it was anything gay-friendly that people wanted to be censored. We wouldn't have the rights we have now if people then had succeeded in censoring unpopular opinions. I didn't like that story, although I find it was well written. I didn't like it because it's not the kind of story I like to read here. So what? I'll read other stories. I don't understand the need to ban it from existence. I won't engage in a debate. As Martin said, if you wish to dispute his decision, do it on the forum or privately with him.

If you simply cannot accept a decision of mine, then *please just leave* and don't return. I'm fed up with you! If you really have to discuss this and don't understand the difference between a story and a speech, then do that on the forum or write me at martin@gayspiralstories.com - But not here.

Hey Martin if i wrote a long speech about how gay men are mentally ill and should try to be straight but categorized it as anti porn, would you publish it? I feel like you definitely would.

I'm tired of this. Please accept my decision that I'm not going to ban this. My site, my decision. Commenting on this story is now closed.

his story is literally categorized as something that is not porn, in fact its mostly written for cheap shock value. and you allow it on your porn website Does. Not. Compute.
