It was my story. I posted it here under a different name, took it down, made editions, then posted it back up again. I didn't realize I posted it under a different name until just now. But Funwithpossession and Landers are the same person.

> I have read Pollination: The Series so many times. It is the one story that I keep returning to again and again > You've said this before -- in the PTS comments -- and I'm as flattered now as I was then. If you knew how many times I've read "BRAIN FEED", you'd expect I'd be able to recite it from memory. Let's do team up and co-author something....? > I was ecstatic to see a new chapter finally FINALLY appear. And it was great! > The bad news is, I wrote this about a dozen years ago, maybe more -- about a year after I put PTS on hold, as a matter of fact. Fans were complaining that I hadn't finished PTS, so I wrote this story in response to it. (You'll see I wrote the novel off in a couple of sentences -- "Weed B Gone" hahaha) It got a LOT of bad feedback, even though I think the story itself is solid, if not a little anti-climactic. I think we ALL expected the plant to win in the end. And maybe it did.... I mean, if you look at the way the men behave at the end of the story, slaves to their plants, maybe the alien is ahead. > I don’t think I would have the discipline to do what the protagonist did. I kept imagining my impatience would get the better of me, and that I wouldn’t have been able to neuter the plant in the correct manner. But that didn’t bother me. Because then I imagined the cycle would repeat where the symbiotes would return. > There's a story in that. And I'd love to read it written by you....

I wish there was less female presence as besides that the idea is hot.

Its absolutely sad that he lost a job that gave him 90 days off. I wish he became a happy subby pup at home but outside lived life and worked normally. Sigh. I guess I just don't get these stories.
