It was my story. I posted it here under a different name, took it down, made editions, then posted it back up again. I didn't realize I posted it under a different name until just now. But Funwithpossession and Landers are the same person.

> I have read Pollination: The Series so many times. It is the one story that I keep returning to again and again > You've said this before -- in the PTS comments -- and I'm as flattered now as I was then. If you knew how many times I've read "BRAIN FEED", you'd expect I'd be able to recite it from memory. Let's do team up and co-author something....? > I was ecstatic to see a new chapter finally FINALLY appear. And it was great! > The bad news is, I wrote this about a dozen years ago, maybe more -- about a year after I put PTS on hold, as a matter of fact. Fans were complaining that I hadn't finished PTS, so I wrote this story in response to it. (You'll see I wrote the novel off in a couple of sentences -- "Weed B Gone" hahaha) It got a LOT of bad feedback, even though I think the story itself is solid, if not a little anti-climactic. I think we ALL expected the plant to win in the end. And maybe it did.... I mean, if you look at the way the men behave at the end of the story, slaves to their plants, maybe the alien is ahead. > I don’t think I would have the discipline to do what the protagonist did. I kept imagining my impatience would get the better of me, and that I wouldn’t have been able to neuter the plant in the correct manner. But that didn’t bother me. Because then I imagined the cycle would repeat where the symbiotes would return. > There's a story in that. And I'd love to read it written by you....

I wish there was less female presence as besides that the idea is hot.

Its absolutely sad that he lost a job that gave him 90 days off. I wish he became a happy subby pup at home but outside lived life and worked normally. Sigh. I guess I just don't get these stories.

It would be interesting if Chris mind controlled Billy into believing that he was Chris and that Chris was Billy, and that Billy had the unrequited love for Chris, (basically switch the scenario around in Billy's mind) that Chris can show Billy his perspective and the betrayal he personally felt.

I have read Pollination: The Series so many times. It is the one story that I keep returning to again and again. So I was ecstatic to see a new chapter finally FINALLY appear. And it was great! It left me wanting more. I love this series and consider it among the very best of this website. On a personal note, I don't think I would have the discipline to do what the protagonist did. I kept imagining my impatience would get the better of me, and that I wouldn't have been able to neuter the plant in the correct manner. But that didn't bother me. Because then I imagined the cycle would repeat where the symbiotes would return. Needless to say, there's still a lot of fertile ground for the Pollination series. (Pun intended)
