It may not be derogatory in Spanish when you're removing it from historical context and purely describing the actual color but it certainly is in English. Unless you mean to tell me that a white guy calling a black guy "negro" would go over well in conversation today.

This is very well written Willie, I love the way you worked the mythology into it and the pictures are fantastic. my only complaint is the lack of sex. will there be a sequel? I hope so.

You're exactly right. The man that forms from the detective's cum is his clone. In hindsight, I wish I had all the men from the fraternity be uncut. But if I had included that detail, it may have given too much away. I wanted there to be a mystery as to what was going on. Nevertheless, it's to the reader's imagination as to what the Source is doing to all the men. I know that I have my theory. But I'd be curious what ideas you guys might think.

Negro means black in Spanish. It's not derogatory in any sense. "PoC" is a very dumb term as well, same as "Latinx" literally no one but gringos use it.

Martin, the difference between those terms and People of Color is that poc isn't used in a deragatory context. That's why its not the same thing as "colored." Uninformed or straight up bad-faith actors will try to claim its the same, though.

Did anyone else notice that French literary criticism (Barthes) was subtly dropped in this comment section? I believe we, as a community, have ascended.

@BlindSeer0: Funny, first "Negro" was just a neutral, descriptive term, then it became a no-go. Then the same happened to "Black". Then "Colored". Now it's POC. At some point, POC will become tainted and unusable, as well. Then we need just another term. For me it's strange, that a person who a has a non-caucasian ancestor is automatically considered "colored", even though nobody could tell that from the looks or skin color. But thank you for the term update. It's not always easy for us old-worldlers :)

@Martin We do NOT use the term in the US, as its kind of racist. A better term id "people of color"/poc (which is the most inclusive). just fyi.

> This story needs to be removed from here permanently. I am now debating whether or not to even patronize this site if things like this are permissible It's your prerogative to chose not to come here. But I'm not removing this story. I have to be honest, if a white person would have written it, and I had to suspect that someone just wants to live out his own racism in a story, I probably would react differently. So it's really a boon that Ethan is what you US people call "colored". I also would prefer if you'd be open-minded and read, before you judge. You should also read [the ongoing discussion in the forum](https://forum.gayspiralstories.com/t/inversed-racism/886) And Ethan, yes, I agree. That would be absolutely nothing but racism.
