Absolutely brilliant!! A brisk, snartly-written story that winks at both itself and the reader. witty and self-aware!

Great to see you back, and a killer start to your second story! Out of curiosity, will there ever be a third chapter for the first one??

@Gregory22 Hey, old friend, good to see you back in the comments! This series has brought a lot of familiar names back! Super glad! Smartiak 6, you say? Why, Smarty gets the spotlight in chapter 4, launching an important sub-plot in the process! Keep reading!

What have I been missing? THREE chapters of KING REX 2! Your works are so fascinating even I'm not very familiar with the Legion series! I love how you build up the heat, and how Rex's power SLOWLY corrupts the superheroes. And the thought of possible future heroes to fall under Rex's power...perfection! Now I have to wait for another two weeks, sad. I also hope Brainiac 5, oh I mean Smartiak 6, is in your picture ;-)

Now, a quick word on Sun Boy -- a character I've never really liked. The only iteration that's appealed to me was in the "three-boot" where he had a buzz cut and the best variant of his uniform (he wears something like it here, in Rex's universe), so I was glad to "get him out of the way" early. But the fact of the matter was this chapter wasn't packing enough of a punch for me. It ended on the image I wanted, the boys on their knees before Rex, but it didn't... DELIVER, if you know what I mean. So, this morning before posting I added the last sequence on the end -- Rex's perspective. I felt after all that exposition, the reader deserved an orgasm moment. Plus it lets me emphasize an important plot-point for later. I hope you feel I got it right.
