I am really loving this story! Do we get to see the augmentation procedure? Does the Org enslave the world? And who runs the Org? So many questions... I hope you will provide answers in many more installments of this story! Thank you for your great writing!

Ha ha, now I'll have to look up that piece! It sounds incredible...George III *did* go off his rocker in the end, so hearing a work capture that is particularly nice. And ooooh...I want to see that "Pollination" comic! :O

Great story -- but you knew I'd like it....

I never thought about it that way, but I guess you're right. Funny, how at its heart this story is really a modern day vampire story, with the "vampire" replaced by peptides and growth hormones. Hahaha.

Oh -- SPEAKING of inside jokes... The "comic book" title -- EIGHT HEROES FOR A MAD KING -- is a play on Peter Maxwell Davies' monodrama "Eight Songs for a Mad King," a wonderfully weird 20th-century sound composition based on the words of King George III that will make you believe in insanity. I've always loved that little gag and knew that no one would ever get it.... sometimes, we do things just to please ourselves.

The "Cycle One" thing was a happy accident, although I don't think CYCLE ONE is on the GSS. I'll upload it soon. There's a great story behind that story. Don't be sad for Superion. I promise, his and Rex's story is not done!

Hooray! While I'm sad for Superion, I'm glad that KittyKat and Amazon Woman were able to save the day. The lines about Superion representing "all men" were particularly awesome. In a sense, Rex is the embodiment of the worst kind of masculinity--the kind that warps others, takes whatever it wants, and doesn't care about anyone's pleasure but its own. Fantastic story! P.S. Loved the tie-in to "Cycle One!" Unified story worlds always make me smile.

No, there's never been a comic book version of this sequence. Believe me, I'd pay a sizeable commission for it There HAS been a comic book version of POLLINATION which was awesome!!! I would love to see Rex....
