You mentioned that the question regarding Sebastian and Taylor being sweet or devilish was the question, and here it is both. Sebastian and Ethan's interactions show that Sebastian genuingly doesn't want to force anybody into their harem, and clearly cares for Ethan greatly due to their shared history with each other, and even though it's a bit dubious that Ethan doesn't entirely have his free will anymore, he did lay everything out for Ethan and give him the choice to even leave if he wanted to, and his intent was to help Ethan first and foremost in all of this. Ethan's situation at this point was a not so good one, and it's clear Sebastian did want to help him. Taylor is a bit more dubious with his literal rewiring of James' personality and kind of mentally breaking him, but he did make a point that James kind of was espousing some less than ideal attitudes. On the other hand, literally stripping him of any confidence (even if it also got rid of the arrogance), is a bit dubious, though I'm sure he will eventually get that back though in a less arrogant manner. Alan definitely seems to be moving forward and finding something new now (and frankly, I don't think he and James were going to last long anyway), and Taylor was able to help him find confidence in himself despite being a bottom which is good. As per their discussion with Dez, it's also clear they aren't in this to simply toy with people either or just go nuts in a hedonistic spiral. They want genuine connection in the harem they are building. Even though there is that dubious aspect of surrendering one's choice to Sebastian or Taylor, both of them clearly leave the choice up to the individual they scout out- they do not force it. And frankly most of the people they are scouting seem to have not been struggling or being overwhelmed by needing to choose on difficult things- so Sebastian and Taylor's offer likely seems a mercy in light of that. It will be interesting to see how they manage to work their way through hell. Dez is a useful asset for that, but they do need to nab a lord somehow...and the question there is how are they going to manage and hoodwink and seduce a lord into being with them considering they are likely centuries older and more experienced with the political subterfuge of the demon realm? They'll manage somehow I'm sure, but they'd need to be very clever about it.

Yup....looks like the fun is over. The wolves were getting way too sure they were going to get away with everything and now it's blown up in their face. Mullins really should have thought this through better than he did because now the feds will be after him too- he did manipulate the police system to cover for himself and the others. Yousef is probably going to get implicated into all of this and likely lose his livelihood in the gym if things go wrong. Seth is likely going to get implicated in all of this as well. There is a disturbing element in how Yousef just tries to not think about the trade to Toddson they made of Zach especially considering he knows how that looks and the analogies to his own family which is in danger. Unfortunately, considering how Nando was treated, I suspect that is about to be on his mind a bit more now...not to mention the fact that he's about to get implicated in a criminal investigation. I don't think he's going to be able to deny the more dubious aspects of what's going on any longer now. The religious fantasy Yousef had is somewhat interesting considering it sort of intersects between religion and sexuality (the desire for cleaving to Luna and the desire to make the hajj and of brotherhood and faith), though at the same time Yousef does seem to be somewhat nebulous into who he direct his prayers- is it the moon he has put in obedience too, or is it god, or is Luna seen as a facet of god? I think Yousef knows very well that bowing to astral figures in lieu of god is discouraged if one wishes to truly serve god, and so he seems to have come to an equilibrium if he sees Luna as a saintly figure of sorts- but if he winds up cleaving to Luna even when it defies religious rites, then that might put him in shaky territory. I know I'm kicking a dead horse here a bit, but that is something I consider when I read his sections- Yousef sort of trying not to think about things I fear is going to come back to haunt him one way or another, and with the FBI having a warrant on his place- the time for having that luxury I fear has run out for him. The situation with Yousef's friends being inducted into the mysteries of the warlocks is also an interesting plot point that I am intrigued to see as to where it goes. Mullins seems to be getting some manner of punishment, but I think things are only starting for him- it's about to get a lot worse for him I fear. I think when he figures about Toddson's abuses he will not be pleased at all.

@Anon Though considering the other pack members, it does seem that Yousef even as he praises Luna does worship in a human manner independent of it and they do recognize that. So I might be overthinking this, and Yousef is certain as to what he is doing, and knows how to navigate this theologically, and has known for a while. At the same time, there is a bit of an implication that Yousef is kind of losing himself a bit in exalting Luna due to the sheer euphoria wolves feel to the moon and not entirely thinking straight, which might wind up backfiring on him in the ensuing investigation and might make him slip up in front of the FBI. I will admit though, it does show Yosuef's blending of his faith and desire- the desire to be with the divine and his desire for the flesh and to be with others. It encompasses it all very well. Yousef's friends and Xochitl are likely going to be an interesting team up, and I wonder what the plan is for Toddson now? As it stands, the man is a loose cannon. Though the fact that Nando literally trying to escape Toddson's abuse was going to earn him a death sentence had it not been for the others staying their hands is very concerning. Wolf laws seem to be very harsh in their execution....
