Got me hard right away haha, love those quick little visuals of the guys' bodies. Make sure to run it through a spell checker, 'tounge' in particular was distracting, but that's an easy fix. Thanks for sharing your work! Looking forward to more.

Your description of how Yousef uses deep breathing and focus to achieve "the animal guise" (a lovely phrase) hits home and adds depth to my understanding of these remarkable characters. Yousef's technique is the approach I've used and taught in the practice of canine roleplay (pup play) for almost 40 years. It's key to getting from two to four legs reliably and keeping us down there in a full and authentic way. In performance arts, music and movement, we're taught early that the breath is the closest thing to the spirit. When we explore the nature of an animal physicality, close to the ground where we belong, engaging in this way makes finding our "pup space" less elusive. As a young wolf, Yousef likely finds an anchor in his years of training and highly refined body awareness, breath and instinct increasing his sense of security in his wolf form and smoothing his acclimation to the pack. I'm reminded of this passage from "Shamanism: Archaic Techniques of Ecstasy" by Mircea Eliade, as he describes the ancient practice (emphasis added): > Each time a shaman succeeds in sharing in the animal mode of being, he in a manner re-establishes the situation that existed in mythical times, _when the divorce between man and the animal world had not yet occurred._ You have a deep understanding of that time before the "divorce." Yousef and the pack are able to live as if that divorce had never happened, and you bring that spirit home so strongly we can feel it crawl up our backs, its hot breath on our necks, making it real in our own realm. Another fine chapter, and an early-morning treat! Thanks and awoos.
