Rooting for TROY, this chapter was SO hot. Brendan seemed to turn naturally into such a slut without even being ordered to...

Thanks for the comments. I thought the Batter Up stories had been uploaded, but having just checked, I've just realised they're not. I do have them, and I'll get them uploaded over the next couple of days.

oops, that was supposed to be "what about Jason? what happened to Jason?" Sorry about that.

You know, I'm big on robots, mind control, etc. (wish I could be a big muscular drone myself, far cry from what I am in real life) But I've always felt a bit uncomfortable with the whole "man invents a way to get what he's always wanted, and then becomes drunk on the power because absolute power corrupts absolutely, and soon goes on to conquer the entire earth," thing. I've read it in countless stories where one of the main characters ends up becoming a sacrifice for an ever-spiraling out of control plot. I'm a silly mushy sappy romantic at heart, even when it comes to two guys just being friends. So, while reading the story, I kept thinking, "what? aw man, no no no, what about John? What happened to John?" I was afraid, like other stories, he had been a "sacrifical lamb" for an evermore spiraling plotline. But at the end...you remembered Jason! Not Jason "the now controlled obedient and adoring slave of his master" (talking about his mind, not the body), but Jason, the fully-realized independent man that John loves as his friend. As someone earlier had mentioned, John may be an actualized god, but at his heart, he is still just a guy who dearly misses his best friend, and has been working tirelessly to try to bring him back the best he could. On reading that last section, I teared up. I just want to say: Thank You. Thank you for not having forgotten where John and Jason came from, and what John is truly like at his core: a guy who truly loved his best friend, was horrified at what he unintentionally caused, and misses him dearly so all along (alongside the other stuff) has been trying to find any way possible to make it up to his buddy.
