The sense of immersion in this chapter is really strong!! I started going to the gym this year. I like the story a lot at first, but then I thought it went too far. We know there are jocks like that in real life. And Doctors too. It wrong to beat someone up. Then get them back and let it go. But to ruin someone life, and the don’t know why. And to the point the Doc took it. Turn me off. The last 3 parts. I did like the roommate part though. All I all it was a good read, just too much humiliation for me.

At first i was thrown by the name Chernobyl becauae i had the image of MANKINDS WORST NUCLEAR CATASTROPHY, death, destruction and coverup! But then i thought maybe Russian immigrants from Ukraine wanted to reinvigorate the name. After all Anericans name their kids after the most outlandish given names. Moonpie, Zephyr, Comet to nane a few. So i was reading along then saw this post. I know I'm a history teacher so I've gotta known this stuff. I guess if you are younger than I, you probably never got to the 1980s in American History. Or you have no affinity for history, which is understandable; most of my friends are that way.
