Why would death suggest STD's? John is said to be in his 60s, it would be easy to say Paul was similarly aged. It's not unlikely for someone in their 60s to die of natural causes.

I basically write horror stories, so a story about a truly beneficial symbiote wouldn't fit my style. Most of the beneficial symbiote stories I've read are primarily about wish-fulfillment, and I'm not a fan of that story type.

Can't the characters just fuck so I can get aroused?

A superb ending, Hypnothrill! I always love your work no matter the subject and genre. So keep writing what makes YOU happy--the rest of us will follow right along! :)

Have you considered a true symbiote rather than parasite? A creature that is as beneficial to the bonded human as the human is to it?

Please do. I love all your stories, but I really enjoy these alien/sci-fi/parasite ones!

This is excellent. Though it does worry me a bit since death kind of suggest STDs. I really like the pacing and descriptive words. The small details and adjectives really make reading this so enjoyable. For the story, I love the amiability and the steady relationships/interactions. It feels transparent (in the good way) and genuine because of the depth and complexity. (I was really surprise that the "bad guy" doesn't feel like a bad guy. If I were in Daniel's shoe, I wouldn't even mind it if John becomes evil, through a series of "nice" deceptions. I'm looking forward to the next chapter!
