OMG the original is even more evil and prescient than this one. It even has the right slogans pulled just a little twisted out of 1984! Fox News would be proud.

This is quite evil... but the one we should have. Are you supposed to write dem transformation, having white bookish republicans changed into Asian/Mexican/Middle Eastern muscled and sex craved gay men, just another "real American men."

I love the idea of this story. I don't understand why the naked selfies and blow jobs happened though. It doesn't make sense with the rest of the story.

You adapted a hot Tumblr story quite nicely. This kind of adaptation fitted your recent style to insert links to Tumblr pages as well as enabled readers to enjoy these nice stories a bit more.

A quick addendum to my last post: when I say "traditionally masculine," I'm referring to what has been traditionally believed to be masculine (manual labor, work as opposed to home, strength as opposed to gentleness, stoicism as opposed to emotion, etc.) I personally don't like that interpretation of masculinity (I think it's dangerous and harmful to every sex and gender), but I recognize that it exists. Needed to define my terms! :D

Ooh. This is certainly a hot story--I love the gradual mental transformation, and the description of Ryan Paul's workouts (although I'm guessing that the name "Ryan Paul" might be a reference to a specific individual?) :p As you say, this story is politically charged; I myself am a Democrat who dislikes the "us versus them" rhetoric in contemporary politics (and especially from Big Trump). In fact, it reads as an excellent satire of what, in my opinion, seems to be one of the driving forces behind some of Big Trump's supporters: a crisis of masculinity. I am in NO way a psychiatrist or political analyst, but it does seem that the idea of restoring traditionally masculine jobs (mining, coal, etc.) and speaking up for the forgotten people of rural areas (which are often coded as masculine--"city boys" are sissies, and "real men" live in the country) were themes of Big Trump's campaign; add that to the rise of rights and recognition for groups besides cisgendered heterosexual white men, and it's possible to see why the notion of restoring masculinity might resonate with some voters. That's what I like about this story: it takes an issue associated with politics and brings it to a logical (and even scary) extreme. Plus, it addresses smartphone/social media culture in a way that seems frighteningly plausible. In short, it's incredible--not your SEXIEST work, perhaps (though it's still plenty hot!), but definitely one of your most thought-provoking. These are my opinions, such as they are. I'd love to hear from you as the author, Hypnothrill, and from other readers, too. Thank you for your work!
