Hope to see the next part soon. This story is amazing! Hope the bully’s get some wedgies and pantsing and Lance gets an atomic or hanging wedgie, some tickling and spanking. Maybe even a lil hypnosis 👀

@[Siren Hypno](/user/show/10045827) Thank you for your kind words; comments like these mean so much to me, you have no idea. I'm trying to figure how to incorporate atomic wedgies and also thought about hypnosis once or twice, but stuff like that is likely not until further into the story. Hopefully, I can weave those threads relatively easily once I get a few more wheels turning.

@[NewsScene](/user/show/270454) Atomic wedgie either via a Gadget or through bullies. They should get their fair share as well sooner or later. Hypnosis via a gadget/ spiral sounds possible. However you decide, I’m always looking forward to new chapters 😇

@Pcm @anonymous I feel that forlorn at this point really sees Eddie as less a person and more a favorite fictional character at this point. Granted, that's probably the most he can feel considering everything. I mean from what you've mentioned he likes to literally roleplay as Collin sometimes with the memory Eddie so thats...cute but slightly disturbing considering everyrthing else. Not to mention, it's probably more likely forlorn wants to feel happy about getting Eddie regardless of what Eddie wants. It reminds me a bit of somebody liking an idealized image of somebody but not the whole person- so in reality forlorn could just be seen as chasing after his own pleasure in a cynical view. I'm sure in his mind, his actions will make Eddie happy...but well...demonic happiness is more akin to how those of slaanesh see joy. Eddie I can only hope manages to escape that fate. At this point, forlorn reminds me a bit of a seducing figure more akin to the biblical Delilah than anything else. Somebody who would lead Eddie down dark paths that should be avoided, and will more than happily betray a loved ones safety (which is exactly what happened to samson thanks to her- who died crushing his enemies by bringing down a temple while he was in it with his bare hands). Forlorn may love Eddie, but he really isn't healthy in that love, and it's debatable if that really is love or forlorn projecting his own self centered desires for pleasure. I might be very cynical in my reading here though. As foe this continent across the ocean, it seems they are more technologically advanced and in the gunpowder empire era. Hopefully, the gods terrorizing the areas and lands of the east and elsewhere aren't there. And it's not like the demons are focused there yet. Maybe they'll be dealing with more mundane threats...I can only hope. Hopefully nobody there has to go through the endless cycle of tragedies Eddie does here. I only pray the demons are too busy in the east to ever bother looking there. Not to mention the fact that it's likely the abyssal gaze would lay a smackdown on anybody trying to cross the seas. So they'll likely be safe. As for the east-west war, something tells me the north is going to get caught up in that and it's going to be a long grueling bloody mess. So more horror for everybody. Will this new continent have any connections to the kingdoms and lands we've seen here or be it's own thing altogether? Geographically it would make sense that there's no connection, but I think I remember you saying you'd like to allude to the kingdom in other works. Then again...considering how terrible things in the east and surrounding areas have gotten maybe its best this new continent has no connection to them. They're probably fighting enough amongst themselves already if it's a militarized continent/societies. However, I'd really find it fascinating if amidst everything forlorn and Eddie wind up with some complicated dynamic- I want Eddie to escape, but forlorn being mired in his affection for Collin would be fascinating to read through, as well as him roleplaying his human self. I'd argue there might be another way for demons to despair- knowing their loved ones are out there bit that they can't be with them. That might be worse than them dying, because they are still out there yet one cannot find them. If Eddie escapes and keeps himself away from the demons, such would likely drive forlorn near mad.

@[Anon](/user/show/10049352) At the risk of making Forlorn more of an asshole than he already is, I would imagine the situation to be akin to an anime husbando. Sure you would want him tovbe real so you could claim him and 'have fun' with him, you even imagine yourself doing things to him and since he is not real, why would you care? Eddie became kinda like that to Forlorn. He was never real to Forlorn until now, just a fun fantasy. If he got away? That would be complicated. On one hand, you wouldnt feel sad if your favourite character from a novel could not become real. On the other hand, knowing that you had a chance to be with them but missed it, how would that make you feel? The thing is, Eddie will become real to Forlorn once they meet, and he will no longer just be a figment of imagination, will it? The next series will revolve around the theme of military ranks and imperialism and political corruption, with the Eldritch Aroboreal faction serving as the main antagonist. Thr Eldritch Arboreal, in his simplest understanding, is just an embodiment of trees and plants, but he is in actually the god of "harmony"...which makes him much more complex that what most understand him as. The Eldritch Aroboreal is also rather widespread, as he simply manifests as floral lifeform, so where it grows, he is there.

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) So the next series will be plant-based transformation, and it related to uniform, I wonder how the people would look like had they transformed. And another thing about the antagonist, it relates to Harmony, which itself is what a person would want, to see something that resembling this to be a corruption, is interesting.

@Anonymous Plant will be a part of it. Plant people are meant to be mass produced as drones to fight, and it is amongst the weaker of the Aroboreal power. Eddie is an exception

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) Oh, right. Eddie is a plant person, but why is he an exception, and how he was born? Will you elaborate on it on the next series?

@Anonymous He was made to be a clone of someone powerful, he was specifically made to almost mimic a real person. He also lives for a long time and even fell in love.

@[Anon](/user/show/10049352) With regards ro the kingodm and the new land in particular, there is minimal interaction between them. However, thus new land has unique technology tgT alliws them to spy on the kingdom while the kingdom has none, even if they can't physcially be there, (imagine airplane), os they are aware of the invasion going on, but does not view it as a threat. (Tgey don't know that demons can alter reality and believe their power extends only to psychological alteration, so their technology is enough to combat them. They would be half right, Sybarite's reality alteration is limited in scope and power). So they live on as normal, maybe formulate a plan in a wartoom or so for the invasion, having 20-30 meetings about it that ultimately won't accomplish anything other than listing thing for "pending further studies".

@Anon @Anonymous Damn, I'm grateful for all the discussion going on in my story. It is a dream comes true to have so many people speculating on a story and directions. I am rather occupied right now, so the enxt chapters will take a while to come out, but hopefully within September or in early Ocotber. Churning out the ladt three chapters so soon after each other takes quite a bit of my free time and creative energy, but seeing your feedback makes it all worth it. I have established an outline for this story for quite a while now. However, your interest got me to extend the series. Originally, the idea is to start with Abandon corrupting Willaim, and the two demons would go on to corrupt Collin. The story would end with the three of them reunited but xhanged, ready to take on the world. Collin himself was the main character of a non-erotic fantasy novel I have abandonned beacause I don't think anyone would read it. In that story, Collin would sacrifice himself to save the Prince and leave his friends and lover behind. However, he was instead captured by his demonified fatger and, having already ensured that people he love are safe and hapoy, Collin realized he did not want to die from his innate medical conditio and gave in , becoming transformed. This story here has an echo of that plot, and I kept reworking ideas from that novel I never got to write. Eddie and Lys too were ones of them. They were an addition to the story here and I originally did not have a fixed plan for them. What I didn't expect was for people to like Eddie so much. I at first was afraid that he would not be well liked beyond being Collin's boyfriend, I t was why I dedicated a whole chapter to his adventure in wolfheim, a tie in to my much more popular series in hope of attracting you guys to his character. I'm glad that it kinda works. Another surprise for me was the fact that much of the audience did not want Eddie to become corrupted. I was under the impression that people would just root dor Eddie to get fucked and be turned as it would mean happiness for him... Now to reveal whatever my orginal plan for Eddie was or whether your reaction has changed it would be a major spoiler. I can say that I see many interesting ideas whther he escapes or falls or even tragically perishes, and very poignant and thought provoking ideas. There are ideas here that I would like to borrow certainly. Anyway, sorry for the rambling, thank you so much for your interesrt. I hope that you guys will stick to the end of tge story, which is only chapters away. And if you want, I will always be happy and eager to discuss any part of the story with you. About the demons and their societal structure, it is entirely chaotic. However, demons aren't generally ambitious and rather content with the roles they serve. After all, most of them have their realities altered to fit the roles they serve in the first place. The Demon Overlords are exception. However, they don't directly kill other demons or Overlords, no. They find ways to subjugate them through pleasure. It is their culture, kinda.

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) I'm happy to see your story get recognised, Pcm. It was until the Ranger's Duty that I understand Eddie as a character, and rooted for him to be himself and escape the East. Certainly, you can borrow our ideas for the upcoming stories, and I along with many others would await your return from the series.

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) Still, what will happen if the demon overlord's power waned through some means? Will the reality change being weakened? How will that affect the demon overlords that Collin and his family have become? Will they feel pain from it and torture their minds with the human memories resurfacing from them? You can write it in another thread for explanation.

Pcm
9/3/24, 5:39 PM
@Anonymous No, reality changes are permanent. Their power is not memory manipulation or illusion, the reality has really been changed independent of their predence. Only few demons can alter reality, and their alteration of reality is limited to expanding the Infer Realm somehow, i.e. adding new nativr demons to it. At this point, it is impossible to know if there are any demons in the Infernal Real that were actually born there without having their previous reality altered. Maybe alteration of reality was what created the Infernal Realm in the first place. Our demon family did not lose their memories at all. They have lived their entire lives knowing that Master had altered realities to make them always demons, and that never bothered them. Their human memories never really happened, so it was kinda a fun novel tgey were reading and sometimes teased each otger with it, maybe even for sex roleplay. They liked that they were always together as a family even as humans, and that's it. It's not something they make habit of thinkibg about. Collin and the others weren't demon overlord. They were demon princes, lieutenants of Overlord Sybarite. To be an Overlrod, a demon must be powerdul enough to alter reality. None of them can yet.

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) Ah, thank you for the clarification. It makes sense, maybe Sybarite was once a human long ago, but something happened and he become a demon overlord because he possessed a power to alter reality after becoming a demon? His identity have long gone, replaced by the memory of him always being born as a demon? Of course, this is just a speculation on my part. And from your perspective, what are the possible ways for a demon to experience true despair like a human did? Or even makes a demon question themselves? (It may not be likely since demon are being selfish here, but I want to know what you thought about it.)

Anon
9/3/24, 6:10 PM
@Anonymous @Pcm I wouldn't be surprised if sybarite was a person long ago. That would make him similar to the god hand of berserk- each of them was once human and then was demonized (made into an apostle). If the overlord essentially rewrote reality and that can't be reversed, then it's likely that such permanence is based on the overlord upholding the reality shift up. It may not be memory manipulation or illusion, it is very much a real thing, but it fundamentally is a distortion of what is. But maybe it will never change. However, such things in my mind are a form of manipulating the unseen, and thus are a form of sorcery. but, time and space can Flux and bend- they are dimensions on their own. What was warped may yet be repaired through some other means. If one can twist it like the overlords, it could be twisted again. More importantly, such a twisting would likely require a constant application of force to prevent things from being altered again. As long as the overlord is alright, I'm sure things can hold. But if he winds up dead or something... That might be a different story. Alternatively however, it might be that this can't be changed at all no matter what. But, even if that is true, I suspect that the demons could face despair. If Forlorn decides to go after Eddie, he may well partake of it. Since the old reality is essentially gone, any potential means of connection forlorn had with Eddie are gone too. After all, if they don't think much about their "fake" human lives....then why would forlorn ever bother with Eddie at all aside from being a standard potential target like anybody else? Ironically, this gives Eddie a greater chance at survival, which I am all for. For practical purposes however, the demons have kind of lost their memories- they don't think they are real and thus have no bearing on them. Akin to how for somebody who lost their memory, anything from before has no bearing on them. That's a more allegorical reading however. For a demon to experience despair, I think theyvwould need to be forced into a situation where pleasure is denied to them and they cannot have it, or worse because they are demons they cannot have it. Pleasure for demons is almost inevitably sexual, but pleasures are not always of the flesh, and I imagine they would want those too. One particularly terrifying scenario I have thought off is a demon looking to convert his family, only to find them dead as they fled for their lives- or worse, they died at their own hands to avoid being demonized (I could see some very zealous worshippers of the dawn and dusk doing this if they were unable to escape to avoid harming their loved ones). They cannot have what they want, and now they never will. I've written on this in the past. Should Eddie die, perhaps Collin will feel this. But since they don't care about their lives as humans- probably not. And keeling that in mind, forlorn would thus never really care for Eddie beyond sating his own pleasure. Eddie escaping from him is thus the best option. Let forlorn be miffed- it's not like he's going to care that much for Eddie anyway if he doesn't care much for his human life- he'll probably find some other distraction. Even if Eddie does wind up dying, tragic as that is- he dies as himself. I hope he survives but at this rate- death would be better than demonization.

@Anon True, but I need a confirmation from @[Pcm](/user/show/10039396): Does the feeling of love between Eddie and Collin passed through Forlorn? Reality could be altered, but what about feelings? Does it simply replace with something else? For example, even though the memory is fake to Forlorn, does he feel anything like love from it? Did he have a longing feeling to that person in his fake memories?

Anon
9/3/24, 7:23 PM
@Anonymous This is likely something @Pcm would only know. With how they describe the demons seeing their human life as not mportant....it really doesn't seem that forlorn would see Eddie in a particularly special light if no feelings were retained. They've mentioned forlorn remembers everything, but they've also mentioned the demons don't really care about their human lives and don't see them as real. In that light, it's hard to tell what forlorn view on this is. He could want Eddie by his side and being denied that could cause him to grow obsessive, or he could just outright see Eddie as little more than a potential conversion target like anybody else. Like you have mentioned however, only @Pcm would know the true answer to this. It all depends on weather not forlorn retained Collins love for Eddie. If he retained the memories but not the emotions, then it really won't matter, as the demons clearly don't care about those memories.

Anonymous
9/4/24, 12:51 AM
@Anon Yeah, you may be right. They become true demon and doesn't care one bit about being human, and without feelings from the human past of them, then they are just the same as other demons, only caring about turning people into demon without a care in the world. Worse, I think it's stand to reason that the East and West would like have a battle for a century, without any victor at the end, after all, there's never a true victory when it comes to war, only pain and suffering remained as a result. Maybe there's no end to it, that West didn't realise their mistake due to the reality change, and only keep on battling East to prevent Sybarite's army from invading their territory. And the demon will keep on trying until then, it's not gonna end until one side is completely surrendered.

Pcm
9/4/24, 1:16 AM
@Anonymous If demons would feel true despiar, then the easy answer would be seeing their loved ones die. Demonification does not deprive them of tgeir prior affection. However, things are different when reality has itself been shifted. The old one became but a dream. Still, someimes love for some one is so very integral for someone's being and will leave a lingering impression on the reality shift, like how you grow so attaches to a character in a fictional sotry. With pthers' case, it might not be so difficult because all the people they have ever loved as humans are shifted with thdm into the new reality...except Forlorn. Well, there is nothing in particular stopping them from demonizing that person through normal mean if only to sate their interest would there? If given the chance to make your favourite fictional character real and spend time with them, wouldn't you? Does that equate true affection? I honestly don't know. Forlorn is invested in Collin amd Eddie' love story and sometimes even projects himself into the story as Collin. He sees Collin happy, and he wants to be happy. As long as he has the means to attain that, why wiouldn't he?

Anonymous
9/4/24, 1:42 AM
@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) I see. That's a great explanation there. What do you have in mind about the upcoming war between East and West? Will the conflict ended and peace returned from both sides? Would you write a follow up series between the two's war, and concluded the series with an ending that makes everyone happy in the end?

Pcm
9/4/24, 1:48 AM
@Anonymous Thag would be a spoiler. The next series in this universe would focus on a far away coutinent across the ocean. It will have a distinct military theme and focuses on another fetish of my, uniform. It is a gunpowder-esque fantasy.
