I too remember this one, and oh yeah, it's a good one :-D I look forward to being taken on the ride all over again, and am excited that you're getting to rediscover it for yourself as well!

@[hungkinkbot](/user/show/136221) Yep, I definitely rediscovered this story. As I did some minor editing on later chapters, I thought to myself: "Oh yeah!! I 'do' remember this." But I was really left wondering how the story is going to end. As of right now, I've edited as far as Chapter 7. And honestly, I'm a little surprised that I'm choosing the ending that I did. It's definitely not the way I thought it was going to be. Just so everyone knows, I've scheduled Chapter 2 to post this Saturday afternoon.

@[rubbrsome](/user/show/13662) I've also had the experience of reading stories I've written that I've completely forgotten about, so I know what you're going through. It gets to be a "look how far I've come" lesson.

@[absman420](/user/show/162063) We have come a long way. I've reread your stories so many times, Absman. But I don't really ever reread my own stories. So I guess it's easy to lose track of what I've written.

Fantastic story. 100 pages of RP, must have been loads of fun. So weird our stories are published on the same day, both using the same Disney mind controller on a 19 year old. The Jungle Book, the original, came out a few months after I was born. I was fascinated by Kaa my whole life.

@[Mafisto](/user/show/600927) Oh yes, it's certainly a great coincidence hehehe. I'll read your story with interest, it's "The Corruption of Young King Ben Beast" right? And yes, it was a lot of fun. Oh, indeed. Kaa has that fascinating power of attraction, most of us got into hypno-kink because of that seductive snake ;3 I’ve posted two more chapters, and there will be more soon. I hope you enjoy them :D

Wonderful story! It's been great reading every paragraph, I love how Kaa took his time to trick Mowgli and let him down his guard, I love it when Kaa is so sly and cunning. Great work as always. I'm sure Boundaru would have loved it.

Oh yikes....Collin really screwed things up here! As much as his kindness is a strength, what he did to eleven just tipped things in the favor of the demons. At least he's realized his mistake, but it's much too late to undo that. Also seeing what he's capable of is scary- I only hope he isn't demonized. Meanwhile, the grandmasters continues to showcase some of the horrifying things he went through. That gil literally watched as he was butchered to death is horrifying. No wonder he doesn't trust emotional ties. It didn't save him now did it? Does gil even know about that, or does he just not care, or viewed it as a necessary sacrifice? Eleven is fascinating in how despite being a beastfolk she shows the northern temperance that's kept them away from excess. I only hope that she gets away since she's catatonic right now. The necromancer is starting to become more freaky because if what Leon said is true he literally shouldn't even be capable of being spoken to right now. And then there's that screaming mystery prisoner from a few chapters back.... If the demon who converted gregory is coming, things are about to get so much worse. The ridiculous part about this is how the grandmasters and the demons are not right in their actions, but somehow have mutually deluded themselves in thinking everything they did and have done is right. The grandmaster is right though that the demons are really just slaves to pleasure and are essentially dealing in conquest though. But the demons are right that eastern culture has its issues, and Collin was dealt major labor violations. Collin using pain to ground himself makes so much sense, and I honestly suspected he'd use that to keep himself stable. I am so worried for Eddie now. Him and Jason are I fear, about to have the fright of a lifetime...if they even wind up staying as themselves and alive. I only hope Collin and Eddie can, and Jason too. Honestly, I just hope the beastfolk face some consequences for this. If it wasn't for them putting a hit on Collin and being unhinged, literally none of this would have happened. Or if it did, to a far less degree. The primal beast has probably already put two and two together and is probably not prepared at all. Thanks to their nonsense, it's likely the east and west are about to face the threat of demonic hordes. And the folk in wolfheim based on last chapter seem none the wide. That's going to probably come back to bite them. If the north shares a border with the east (though it seems it only shares a border with the western regions), this is going to spiral into a multi region conflict/catastrophe

@[Anon](/user/show/10049352) Well, what was someone supposed to do in Collin's situation? There is not really a good choice, is there? You either let your family die or betray your friends and humanity. Collin wasn't thinking straight back then, but even if he were, would his choice change? Anyway, the demons already came up with a demonic name for Collin : Forlorn. Hmm... I don't plan to elaborate on Gil's situation during the massacre of Sacred Dusk 50 years ago. Maybe he just didn't see the Grandmaster? Maybe he was shouting to his troop to stop, but they did not hear him. Maybe the Grandmaster was about to kill his pack, and retaliagion was necessary. Maybe he just did not care... That's up to your headcanon. I know I'm fridging Eleven here. Won't make an excuse for that... With the hint in this chaoter, can you guess who the mystery prisoner is now? Ghe Demon who corrupts Gregory is rather powerful, really really powerful, and he will showcase the true horror and nature of demonhood, bringing with his appearance great revelation about things. The demons are certainly aware that they are perverted debauched hedonists, and they deem that to be the epitome of existence. Spreading their corruption is biologically wired to bring them pelasure, so they do that. It is only Leon who twists the chivalric thinking into fitting the demonic narrative. Knighthood is so ingrained in him that even his demonization cannot severe his ties to it... The others are just mad about Collin. Poor Collin. Also, Poor Eddie. How muc could you really blame the beasts, or the grandmaster for that matter? An interesting thought experiment would be if Collin never had to hide, what would change. Gregory would still be captured and transformed, returning to corrupt everyone he knows and loves. As for the Grandmaster, hiding Collin from his family also helps ensure their safety, as their grief imwould be the most convincing lie. If Wolfmen did trail them while they were visiting, they could have been led to Collin otherwise. After this chaoter, the West will be aware of the demons now. The demons no longer care about camouflage now that the knights are all converted and only the Royal army is left to contend with, especially with the Sacred Dusk dealt with.

Mindwipe/corruption/betrayal stories are my favorites. I look forward to the next installment.
