Great story. Was the reality change limited to Adam's body and mind? Just curious.

Some of this chapter is harder to believe. But the process is great. I need some of that juice. The muscular fountain of youth.

@darkblade2814 That makes sense. I suspect that the dragons managed to despite their curse not come off as having the warning signs the other entities have. I also cam see that the dragons (and everybody else) don't want to get trampled over by demonic outbreaks or the primal beast coming back or the destructor going bonkers in the north so dragonizing seems the only option. Also considering the king in the main timeline somehow managed to get honeypotted by wolfheim royalty (gil's daughter) I think at this point they probably are viewing this as the east not being strong or stable enough to not get co opted by the demons. The culture is too asteure at times and leaves a wide opening for hedonism to appeal. Between that, making sure the primal beast doesn't stage a resurgence, and stopping the north from getting blown to bits- dragonization is probably the only option left. A major theme of this work is of the era of the dawn ending and things changing- with all these new entities and the demons stirring, sacrifices may need to be made. As much as losing one's human body might be very dysphoric, the danger of future threats is also rather present. There will be growing pains as things adjust I assume. Of course, I doubt everybody will be forced into this (hopefully) but I can easily see a campaign for draconization in light of future knowledge in order to avert real danger from the demon outbreaks or worse. It seems that while the dragons aren't as bad as the other entities, they also want to see their reach expand. So they are less murky than the others, but have their own ambitions.

@Anon yeah, like i said, everyone in the canon story will exist in the dragon timeline under different circumstances, so Gil will be present in Aaron's life, with polyamory being okay, Herinetta and the queen will share the king, things like that, and yeah, the people will pick dragonization as the lesser of the two evils, like the north did between the destructor and the beast
