This story really speaks to the part of me that still judges me for this kink, it's interesting because it's been a long-time since a story in this site managed to both make me horny and sad lol There are many Chekhov's guns planted in this story that depending on how they play out, will massively affect the way this story ends; like I'm surprised Rob hasn't flat out ordered Alex to obey only him, which means... Someone else might, ergo Chekhov's gun. I'm curious to see how it plays out, and I'm fascinated by how audiences have responded to Rob with such a punishing gaze and desire for comeuppance seeing as he is way less cruel than a lot of main characters on this site!

@[TheSatanScully](/user/show/917743) I don't think Rob thinks things through. He keeps submitting to his id before telling himself that this is going to be the last time (this no need to adjust the "authority clause"). But speaking of untouched commands, Rob didn't make Alex remember he can eat normally. I have a feeling someone is going to lose their job soon...

Eddie: You're kidnapping orphans! Marky: Don't be silly! You can't kidnap orphans; nobody wanted them in the first place.

@[BlindSeer0](/user/show/381024) let's say Marky will have to face the fallacy of this attitude eventually in the stories I'm planning and leave it at that, out of Gil's sons, he may be the dutiful one, but he, like his brother Hans, has his limits, and the primal beast will push him beyond his limits like he did with Hans, Pcm helped me planing mostly the North storyline and Hans' story as well

@[John Rogers](/user/show/10022487) Thanks, John! Finishing up my next Paladin story now, but I'm loving the interest in this series, so maybe I should return to this one next, eh? ;)

Absolutely brilliant. This is one of the BEST stories I’ve read anywhere in the past year. What wonderful talent and imagination! Bravo!

@[Margrave](/user/show/10044380) Hey, thanks - that's really great to hear. Love when a story does the trick! ;) I'm currently finishing up the next Paladin and the Witch book (in Sept, fingers crossed), but your comment reminds me I have another witch, a bad witch, I need to return to! Josiah is so different from my other MCs, so it's a fun headspace to get into.

Now when you say that the next chapter is more darker you mean erotic sex or more deaths and tragedy

@Anonymous Why not both?

@Pcm Also the hunch I had of the border population falling for the Wolfman is something I'm pleasantly suprised over! Marky definetly seems complex but ultimately loyal to the primal beast. I really just want Collin and Eddie safe, but with your other comments now I'm just terrified they'll die or suffer a fate worse than death. I'd like to hope this chapter will force the Wolfmen to introspect, but they likely are only going to double down and get even more unhinged. The worst part about Marty's point is that he is kind of right- eastern culture seems very focused on the well being of those in power, and it makes sense the beastfolk would find loyal folk from the destitute. I can't even entirely blame Marky for how he believes- despite the aspects of hunting and the like being definetly eerie, he's not entirely wrong- Eddie isn't either though, as he's right that if these people don't become wolves they are exiled- which isn't good.

@Anon Actually Marky's brother is named Hans, and both of them are characters that @darkblade2814 and I have been discussing over. I won't get into ther characters muvh in case If he wants to add his entries to the series (this IS a community series). I can say that Marky's brother has left home due to an argument with his family, but he is still ultimately loyal to them. Now, both Eddie and Col have done things to fuck the Wolfmen over. It is funny. I'm still debaring if I should let Eddie have his arm back, if that would somehow cheapen his conviction here. I want to make Eddie and Collin the traditional genuinely good guys of the series, at least relatively compared tot he others. Tgat way, when the plot hit them, it will be absolutely tragic. What will Eddie do now? Will he be back in time to save Collin? I ultimate want to leave it ul to the air if the Wolfmen's operation is good or bad. There is a sinister undertone there, but many Easterners thoroughly enjoy it. Anway, what Eddie does is giving them a choice, something these people have never received. Most of the stay with the Wolves, but that choice is no longer a forced necessity. In the least, it has become their voluntary decision. I'm already done with the next chapter titled A cleric's other duty. It is the darkest one I have written yet, to compensate for Eddie getting off easy here. Should be out within a day or two.

@[Pcm](/user/show/10039396) ....that you say the next entry is the darkest scares me. Collin suffered greatly in his last one....I'm terrified of what might happen now. At this point, better he dies himself than twisted into something else. It Is good that Eddie let the people have a choice, but the tragedy is that eastern society screwed up so badly in some ways people wanting to be made wolves is in some ways a completely understandable response, between neglecting the common folk or destitute and xenophobia against westerners. Marky makes that point clear. I wonder what arguement Hans had that caused him to leave? It sounds like he dislikes the idea of it being transformation or exile for western society. Where'd he go off to? But those are likely answers you can't provide at this point as you've mentioned. Something tells me Eddie is going to come back to a horror show...I'm dreading what comes next. The Wolfman are likely out for blood now. I can only hope gil doesn't wind up obsessed over Jason or something.

@Anon Don't worry, Gil will as a matter of course be obsessing over anyone he deems to be a pack being taken away. Yet, he does not see Jason as his immediate family, so he will be mad, not not Aaron's level mad. It is more akin to the feeling of a lieutenant losing a soldier under his direct command. Will he get a chamce to exact his revenge though? Since I have alreayd completed most of the rest of the story, I think that there will be three more chapters, with a short epilogue. The next one is already submitted for approval. The other two might take a week or so to complete, with the finale being around tge length of Dilemma. I don't really know if it is Eddie or Collin who has its worse in the upcoming parts.

@Anon Hans Disagreed with the plan of Using Aron to turn the king of the East, but would have tolerated if it worked, as it would have shortened the war and the bloodshed, but sense it failed, it was the last straw, as it would only make things worse, so he and a few members of the members of the other houses packed their stuff and moved to the North Using a child as a pawn is one of Hans moral lines Hans is not as indoctrinated as Markus/Marky because he was a sick child and needed to spend a a lot of time in the North for treatment, so he also soaked in the Northern values, and that made him question some of the Western ways, he was the white sheep of the family

8/27/24, 7:16 AM
@Anon Also, did you noticed that Eleven is a deer woman? The north also have houses with an animal theme, and they essentially had to pick the lesser of the two evil's, as they had a primal god, the Destructor, raining terror in there, and the head of one of the houses was a pen pal to one of the younger lions, so the West agreed to help once the north proved themselves and they became beastmen too, their houses were the deer, the raven, the snake, the boar, the horse and the lynx, and once the plan with Aaron back fires, they get some of the wolves, lions, bulls and bears with them, the North will be interesting to write, unlike the West, the north will still have their culture, just with some of the primal beast's taster added in a bit of syncretism, the North is very community based, as they have to be, as the North is a harsh environment, and playing with their strengths is important, this is what makes the Primal beast accept them, they are survivors

8/27/24, 10:11 AM
@Anon Marky is still Hans biggest supporter when the rest of the family wants to drag Hans back, he has to remind them that surviving also means leaving toxic situations that may be harmful, and Gil, despite being a good father, is too deep in the Prima beast's camp to notice that Hans, due to seeing himself as more of a Northern man then a western one, and he felt very uncomfortable with some of the Beast's plans, like using Aaron to take over the East, ands he had overheard the beast could overwrite his mind if Gil wanted, something Gil never wanted, even so, Hans was scared, everything boiled to a point shere he felt would be safer for him to go to the North
