Interesting to see where Nick is going to end up. Leaning much more towards the type Hank was. I feel bad for Carl, I think if Henry wasn’t so mind fucked he’d have felt the same way, but our poor Henry doesn’t get to be himself much by this point. It was a great and impressive story. I wish Henry could have turned the tables on Nick as I did feel like he kept getting more and more out of line… I will say, the outcome could have been much worse and was in several alternate endings. I liked Henry and you did a great job with his struggle. Sometimes I just like to see the good guy win a little more, lol. In all seriousness. I applaud you and this story.

@[thejazzcat](/user/show/10005285) Thank you very much! Perhaps I might say that this 'ending' is more of a 'beginning', or a turning point in the story. Henry has moved on from his previous fears, difficulties and stumbling blocks, so now where will he go? We'll just have to see,...! But, seriously,... _"let the good guy win!?"_ NEVER!

@[Blazargus](/user/show/10012784) lol hey. Some of us still like the good guy winning! Hahah. Although I still would have liked to see him mind fuck ol’ Nick and teach him a lesson so it wouldn’t have been too good lol.

@[thejazzcat](/user/show/10005285) I know, I know! It's just _soo_ hard to let them win! :weary: ha ha! But that,...? Now _that_ is my kind of ending! ;)

Fuck! What else is there to say besides: All hail King ~~Rex~~ Nick!

@Anonymous Nick is going to have a lot to juggle going forward; what with Henry, being a hero AND 'investigating' a cult! I wonder if he'll manage,...

@[Blazargus](/user/show/10012784) How can he not, with a devoted army of followers eager to please and spread his influence? You know, looking back, it seems like there's been something of a progression throughout this series. We started out with the original Tri-Hard, who used brute force to control his slaves, to disastrous results. Then we had Hank, who was more manipulative than coercive -- he fared better, but still failed in the end. I wonder how far a Master with a truly dedicated following can go...?

@Anonymous It's not just a question of 'how far,...?', but also 'where to,...?'

Just found this amazing story. It's such a shame that the author stopped writing, can't see anything online of him. If you ever see this, Lunkdunk, you're an amazing writer, thank you so much for this incredible story!
