Maybe you can make two versions of The Alignment? I love the original the way it is, especially the incest!

Wow! Thank you very much, Trylithin! 〝Predictive Analytics〞is one of my favorite, glad to see the connection and recurring chars between the two stories.

@Cliff "Hey, you're Keller's TA, right?" Tanner turns at the voice, for a moment terrified that a student's found him at this quite obviously gay bar, but it's an older blond guy addressing him. He remembers meeting the same blond guy in passing, one of Keller's old friends who laughs a lot and calls her "Angie," but he doesn't think they've been introduced properly. "Yeah, that's me," he says, reaching out to take blond guy's proferred hand. "Tanner." "Eli," blond guy says, and when their hands part, there's a USB resting in Tanner's palm. "It's a mini version of the program I've been working on," Eli says. "Angie's been helping me with some of the trickier parts." "Er," Tanner says, but is saved from replying when a pair of brawny arms wrap around Eli's waist. "Ready to go?" Eli asks his companion, an older, bulky guy with streaks of silver in his hair, and when he receives a nod and a grin he's gone with a hasty, "Seeya, Tanner! Use it on someone who deserves it!" --- When Tanner figures out what the program can do, he immediately calls Keller and asks her what she thinks. "Please, Angelina's fine," she says, and then, "Use it on someone who's worth it." That's all Tanner can get out of her, and she stays annoyingly silent about her involvement in it. When he hangs up, he momentarily considers using it on Gerry, but dismisses it just as quickly. They'd broken up weeks ago, and besides, Gerry was kind of an ass. 'Use it on someone who deserves it,' says Eli's voice in his head, and, unbidden, the image of the cute dorky guy from Keller's advanced course fills Tanner's mind. Vincent is his name, and though he's lanky and awkward, speccy and stuttery, Tanner's been nursing the tiniest of crushes on him. It's worse because the guy is so obviously straight that it's painful, stammering the worst when confronted by any living breathing female specimen, and for a moment Tanner considers making him gay. But that would be horrifying, not to mention an ethical travesty of largest proportions. Instead, he decides to give him a gift - like one from a secret admirer. Vincent is evidently a little awkward, so maybe Tanner could use his gift from Eli to make him a little more confident. And, well, maybe... maybe Tanner hopes a little bit that Vincent isn't as straight as he seems.
