Interesting idea. I can see where this could have gone. I agree with some of the other comments and this could have easily been applied to other regions as well. Some frat brothers down in Mexico for spring break taking advantage of the "free" spirits end up going native. Some guys are taletelling Europe after high school and before college end up in Germany.

Add some punctuation too. Preferably correct punctuation. Makes it easier to figure out what the sentences are trying to say.

If you ever chatted with Aussies you'll know they have a helluva lot more colloquial terms (unrecognizable to more monolingual Americans). I suggest you have a couple of conversations with Aussies, then redo the story (the poor grammar really makes reading difficult) and incorporate all the new words you discover to change the protagonist in order to round out his profile.
