Very nice story! Pacing is good. I agree with the previous comment that Bryan's personality seems to evaporate too quickly. Personally, I love to see the guy struggle with the story's mind control aspects. But perhaps you can do something in the continuation - or when Bryan gets his own recruit.

Technically well written and the setup could lend itself to a good story, but to me this was a bit too straightforward. The main character is just clay in Alec's hands: that could be a good story in itself, but (again, in my opinion) then you should have made more of his helplessness and the ongoing changes instead of flatly narrating what Bryan is ok with this time.

You can still go on ha. But why not try and tell the story from the slaves perspective? It's always hot seeing how someone copes with their new found purpose in life :)

This was a very well written, atypical story of insight gained by a man who had a lot of learning to do, about himself. It is not the typical **flashing lights/**mind control/** violent sex changes/** BAM usually found here. Thank you for this refreshing, thoughtful coming-of-age-to-yourself story. The insights about his father were very helpful to me in understanding what the protagonist was experiencing.

It's good, even have some romantic vibe, guess it's too lovely for somebody here or NCMC. Just my humble opinion, I feel like it's a story for self acception, but a little too rush about that topic. We see Cliif's past, nowdays, and then......BOOM, he had been drugged, seen from other's eyes, then he can fell of his past. Well, he made big leaps in a short time, in a somehow restrained way . I know it's possible, but for this kind of life-changing things, I'd like to see some big event to trigger them, the protagonist do or feel something extreme, so I can easily have empathy with him.
