Aaron wakes up in another world, with strange creatures holding him prisoner. He learns that he and his friends are a precious commodity - and that if he's not careful, he'll wind up monstrous, like the people holding him prisoner. Before he can learn much more, he's subjected to the first of many changes he will undergo to survive in the strange, monstrous world he's landed in.
