Bowser conquers Earth in 2025 through a portal. His Koopa Soldiers kidnap men at night with purple beams that break their will. Marcus, a lonely IT support worker, follows the soldiers and gets captured himself. In transformation barracks, men are turned into identical armored warriors. All memories are erased. Marcus becomes Koopa Soldier-9847 - one of millions of identical servants of Bowser.
