A work drone awakens when an electrical accident damages his control implant. Free from the Empire's reward/punishment conditioning, he explores the dystopian hierarchy: faceless drones, gas-masked soldiers, white Praetorian guards, and the cybernetic Emperor. After saving the Emperor from assassination, he's "rewarded" with transformation into a Praetorian perfectly enslaved again.
